The unlucky pair come from a post-apocalyptic civilization, which has been recovering from the destruction for over a thousand years. So long, in fact, that they have come to embrace medieval ways, while at the same time they begin to unearth pieces of the advanced society which lays buried in ruin beneath the surface.

But, as luck would have it (hack, cough) their journey through time brings them to the middle of wonderful, picturesque Rivendell. Now, armed only with a special sword and a rather conspicuous handgun, how will they both find their way home?
And more importantly, how will they cope with the absence of Mountain Dew?
