Tanith is a child of middle class nobles...the
youngest of six, she is the only daughter. Her
father, Captain of the de Rocinante Guard, doted upon
his lovely dark haired daughter...spoiling her beyond
belief, allowing her every whim and fancy. She was
born and raised in Panacea, her best friend, Kivrin
de Rocinante by her side. She had a happy childhood,
growing up spirited and wild, and somewhat of a
tomboy. She was beyond her parents control, and
would chase after her brothers, wanting so to be
apart of everything they did. As a result, she
learned to fight--well, and to take care of herself.
As she got older, she would leave for days, and upon
returning, refuse to speak of her adventures. A
turning point came when Tanith turned fifteen.
Kivrin's brother, Beckett, slaughtered his and Kiv's
parents in a rage. He took off into the night,
leaving Kiv to fear for her life, and those in her
village. Kiv, after deciding to leave Panacea, asked
Tanith to accompany her. She agreed, knowing Kiv was
far too naive of the world to be out alone in it.
Now, eighteen years old, she divides her time between
Panacea, Ravensdale, and everywhere in between. She
has a restless heart, and will not allow herself to
be tethered to one place for too long. She is
strong, and tough...courageous...yet underneath lies
a heart of gold, a loyal dependable friend if any can
get close enough. No one is really sure what Tanith
does, she is very secretive. A rouge thief, she is
well-skilled with a blade, and carries a two-handed
bastard sword, custom made and weighted for her small
form. 'Tis rumoured she'll take any job for the
right amount of pay....'tis also been said she gives
that gain to those less fortunate...though be it true
or not, she'd never admit to it.
