Update: Bemanisims was down for awhile, but they've finally reopened their stepfile database under the new merged "Bemanistyle" site. The links to my originals have been updated to reflect that. Let's wish them the best of luck in their ground-up site redesign.

Luv to Me ~Ucchie's Edition~
Luv to Me ~Ucchie's Edition~ Artist: Tiger Yamato
Album: Beatmania IIDX 4th Style BPM: 160
Luv to Me ~Ucchie's Edition~
            5     7     9     -
This is my first DWI, and though all of my DWIs so far have had 5/7/9 difficulty, Luv to Me ~Ucchie's Edition~ is technically my easiest, at least on Maniac.

My goal was to improve upon the average-quality steps of AMD Mix, as well as introduce my favorite mix of the song, which has never appeared outside of Beatmania IIDX 4th Style. It is very traditional, lending itself to a mixture of the stepstyles common to MAX2 and 4th Mix Plus. If you like Luv to Me, you should like this DWI.

Radien's assessment: I consider this one to have the best steps among my DWIs so far.

Bloody Tears (Rock Mix)
Bloody Tears -Rock Mix- Artist: Michuri Yamane
Album: Castlevania: Symphony
of the Night (Saturn Version)
BPM: 240
Bloody Tears (Rock Mix)
            5     7     9     -
My second DWI, I am very pleased with how this one turned out. It is my personal favorite, all factors considered. It has a cool background which I made with very little help, and I enjoyed working with the Castlevania motif.

The steps are fast... damn fast. When I started working on this stepset, I was startled to find out it clocked in at 240 BPM. But no fooling, the drum line really is that fast, and it feels natural.

I decided to give it the stepset it deserved: a 9-footer with sophisticated crossovers, rhythms, freeze arrows, and even an appropriate BPM freeze that ought to take you by surprise. Fun and quite challenging. One of these days I should make 10-foot Challenge steps for this deserving song.

Radien's assessment: I consider this to be my best DWI overall. The quality of the steps, song choice, and background are all equally good. Highly recommended if you're deciding which to download.

Jump
Jump Artist: Every Little Thing
Album: Released as single BPM: 152

Jump
            5     7     9     -
This is my third DWI and was done under the most rush, to be finished in time for Tournamix 3. I had the personal drive, but... well, I was kinda burnt out from finals, thanks to Tournamix's bad scheduling. Consequently, there were some parts about it that turned out a bit dry. However, it has some of the most uniquely difficult crossovers you may encounter.

There are many standard crossovers that you will all recognize, but I challenge you to master the unique sideways combos, rotating jumps with freeze arrows, and the BreAkdown-inspired "turn and jump" juxtaposition. Also... prepare yourself for the beginning. You'll see. ^_^

I put a lot of thought into this one... so before you set it aside with the belief that the steps are random, ask yourself: do I really understand crossovers?... If done right, you will never need to 360 on this song.

Radien's assessment: Not the best of the three, but the most sophisiticated. The song is not fast, but it is both a brain-buster and a foot-twister. A good choice for J-Pop fans.
