Step 4: Record the Length of the Segment
If you zoom out to full, your selection should now look something like this:
Now that you have a neat selection of the entire portion of the song with a consistent beat, GoldWave will tell you how long the selection is, measured in seconds, as pictured below.
This number is the selection length you're looking for. Write the number down somewhere. You might also want to play your selection through once or twice to make sure it sounds correctly positioned. (I hope you enjoy your song, because you're going to be hearing a lot of it from this point on :P )
