Nathan and Jalanda are silently pondering and perhaps dozing. * Dylan shakes Mitsuo gently, frowning * Mitsuo doesn't awaken, doing a lovely impression of a beanbag. He breathes in a labored fashion...and looks pretty beat up ^^; * Dylan sighs.. * Feray stirs from her spot near Dylan and Mitsuo, lifting her head and wincing.. "Ouch..." I was hoping he'd fix up on his own.. ....aw heck. We got beaten up by the pirates, didn't we? -_- * Feray shakes her head and pushes herself up to a sitting position, gazing dazedly at Dylan. "Who would...?" Mitsuo, he hasn't regained consciousness How are you doing? * Feray notices Mitsuo and shakes her head to clear it before sliding closer, reaching out to touch his forehead. "Alright... I've taken worse in hunting accidents, really..." Can't you heal him or something...? I can, and will in a minute.. not sure if it will help.. * Feray nods and rips off a bit of her hunting loincloth, wetting it with her tongue before wiping some of the dirt and blood off Mitsuo's face.. "Worth a shot...we'll need all the strength we can get when we bust free of this place..." * Dylan nods * Dylan rests hands gently on Mitsuo's chest Spirits around us, sea and lake.. Life of the fishes, and the trees, and all of us.. Lend me your power, such that I might aid this boy.. * Feray continues to wipe away dried blood from Mitsuo's face, waiting anxiously.. * Dylan shimmers with blue energy Repair his flesh, and refill his veins! * Dylan pushes gently against Mistuo's chest, the blue glow entering Mitsuo's form >> * Mitsuo coughs once, and his breathing improves quickly, as if a load has been lifted. * Feray brightens. "Great! Way to go, Dylan!" * Dylan pats Mitsuo on the cheek You okay, boy? Mmmgmmm.. * Feray stops doing the motherlyspitwipething with Mitsy's face, drawing back and waiting. "C'mon, wake up...time to nap later." * Dylan leans back against the wall * Mitsuo coughs again, and opens his eyes blearily, "...What...?" You're awake.. I'm glad. * Feray grins. "Welcome back to the world of the living, 'suo." * Mitsuo squints a bit, "Dylan...? Feray?...Sorry...*blinks* ...We're not dead?" Nope. Just a little battered. ^^; Merely captured.. I'm sorry.. I couldn't stop them.. ...No...I'm sorry...I was the last one standing...but...I knew I wasn't gonna defat them on my own...I tried to stall... * Mitsuo sits up, wincing, "...Guess it didn't work...and my glasses are missing. Shoot." They might be lost to the sea.. I doubt our captors would care enough to grab them * Mitsuo pats around the ground for them blindly, not expecting to find htem. * Feray leans back a little and shakes her head. "We can point fingers later, guys. We have to get out of here." ...Wonderful. --; * Feray sweatdrops at Mitsuo brushes her leg. O_o Agh! Sorry! It's fine. ^^; * Mitsuo draws his hand back and blushes slightly. ^^; The problem is how and when. We don't even know what happened to the ship we were on They probably sunk it. Probably... * Mitsuo sighs, "I wonder who else they captured? Was there anyone who was important on that ship...?" We'll probably have to wait until they put to port then. No point escaping to the sea * Mitsuo still sound a tiny bit breathless. We could overpower them and take the ship, Dylan. There's always that option. I can't see too well...is everyone else okay? We could try, you expect to fare better against more of them? * Feray glances about to make sure everyone is okay. "I don't see anyone else, Mitsuo, aside from the group..." Drat... We were a bit cocky, Dylan, going into the fight...now we know what we're up against. * Dylan raises an eyebrow. * Mitsuo closes his eyes, concentrating. Perhaps.. best to wait until a chance shows itself though.. * Dylan looks around the room.. * Feray wags a fist. "I can't wait for that chance, let me tell you." * Dylan cracks his kunckles, wincing In case anyone looks around, Jalanda and Nathan are sitting against the wall, dozing. Erellisae is staring silently at the door and looking psycho. Mikari and Rion are still out of it, but their wounds have been bandaged and they seem in no immediate danger. Payback will be forthcoming from me, as well.. ...Weird. Do you all feel that? Sorry? Hm? I felt nothing. * Mitsuo shakes his head, "I dunno...I just feel something very odd. It's...sort of this magical vibe. I know I felt it someplace before. It's not very strong, though." * Dylan shrugs.. Hmph. I'm sure its got something to do with our captors.. * Mitsuo shakes his head again, "Maybe the pirates hit my head too hard. ^^;" And the air quality in here sucks, you know that? I should complain. * Mitsuo grins, despite himself. I could try and kick a hole in the wall...I'm sure that'd get you some fresh air. ^_- Picky boy. ^_- * Rion is KOed, lying forgotten in a corner, if he able to say anthing, he'd say "Get me conscious again you short-sightned dimwits! What's wrong with you? Geez! Mitsuo's the only one with an excuse to not see me because he can't see the nose on his face! >.<" * Me? Picky? Bah. ^^; Dylan? * Dill lying on the floor, perks up slightly for a moment, before dozing off again Can you heal the others that need healing? * Dylan stands up, slowly.. I'd do it but I kinda lack in that department.. ^^; * Mitsuo tries to grope around for his glasses again... ^^; Yeah, you sure you're okay? I can heal him if you uh...lead me there? ...Agh! What am I touching that's squishy?! O_o ... * Feray eyes Mitsuo. My leg Gaah! ^^; Stop coping a feel on Dylan! * Mitsuo plants his hands firmly at his sides. ^^; Don't worry, I'll take care of them.. * Feray reaches out to grab Mitsuo's hand and holds it. ^^ "Here. I'll make sure you don't fall out a window or something." ^^; * Dylan hobbles over to KOed people, and checks their bandages * Mitsuo nods, "I can see a little bit. I just usually trip on something along the way anyway." Mikari and Rion are out like lights, but a bit of healing probably wouldn't come amiss. * Dylan sighs, and casts Heal on each of them, chanting in a low voice. Well, I'll make sure you don't.. ^^; We'll find you some glasses somewhere, I'm sure.. Are you sure you're okay? After healing, Mikari looks much better, but she seems to want to sleep in. ^^ * Mitsuo nods adamantly, even though there's a slight breathlessness to his voice now, "...Nothing getting out of here won't fix." * Feray eyes Mitsuo. "Alright but if you have some trouble breathing, tell me. I'll find some way to get us some air." * Rion lets out a little grumbly moan.. * Uuuhhh...gghh.. ^^; What makes you think...*shuts up* * Feray chuckles softly and then winces. Well, at least Sue or Leen will probably pay ransom.. What if they don't want to ransom us at all? I'm just irked. * Feray chuckles and squeezes Mitsuo's hand a little. "Daring? Awe inspiring?" * Rion reaches into a vest pocket a moment.. staring blankly at one of the brig's walls.. * ...? Rion? * Feray shakes her head again and sighs a little to herself...she winces again and then looks to Rion.. Rion, that trick you pull with chests? * Mitsuo starts thinking, "...Hmm..." * Rion flicks out a pair of wire-framed glasses. * If you make fun of me, I'll have to severely hurt you.. but I need these to read sometimes. ... * Dylan raises an eyebrow * Feray fights a grin. * Rion hands them to Mitsuo.. * If they can help you, then I'll loan them to you. The door seems very solid, perhaps even reinforced by magic, and the lock looks difficult to pick. * Rion grins his winning grin. * Don't mention it. * Rion snorts.. * All too easy.. * Rion goes back to rooting around in a pocket again.. * Suddenly they can hear the sound of booted footsteps approaching.... * Rion looks up, and quickly darts back from the door! * ...Who's there? O_o * Mitsuo quickly takes Rion's glasses off, forming an idea. * Feray tenses and releases Mitsuo's hand, standing quickly and raising her fists... There's a rattling in the lock, and then a pirate stands over them, frowning. He is very large and dressed in flashy clothes. [Pirate] Awake, are ya? Hmm. *Rummages in a pile of stuff he brought with him* * Dylan stands between Erel and the door ... The pirate pulls out a pair of glasses. [Pirate] These belong to one of you? ...What are you holding? ...O_O * Dylan raises an eyebrow Erellisae makes a snarling noise and tries to launch herself at the pirate, who chuckles, but Dylan blocks her way. Mitsuo, I believe they are your glasses * Feray reaches out for the glasses. "Yes." * Mitsuo smiles, "Yes, those are mine. Can I have them?" So, what are you going to do with us? The pirate shrugs. [Pirate] Right. *tosses the glasses in their general direction* Got some clean clothes for ya too. That blood ain't too appetizin' ta smell, ya know. *Tosses a pile of flashy pirate clothes at them* * Mitsuo goes down on his knees and gropes for his glasses. [Pirate] Ain't fer me ta decide. Mebbe ransom ye....if ya got anyone who'll pay, let a guard know and we'll tell the captain. The pirate thinks for a moment. It looks difficult. * Feray drops her hand and eyes the pirate... Don't break anything. Ask Sue or Leen at the Chandrinos Summit We are in their employ. * Rion stays quiet, looking nonplussed. * * Mitsuo finds his glasses, litterally HUGS them, and puts them on. The pirate looks confused at Feray's remark, then nods at Dylan. [Pirate] I'll tell the captain. Oh yeah...I need ye. *Points to Rion* Cap'n wants ta speak with ye. * Feray narrows her eyes. ...(w, to the pirate) Whoa. You're ugly. * Rion wideyes. * Me? What'd I do? O_o The pirate does not hear Mitsuo. Which is fortunate. :D [Pirate] Heck if -I- know. *Shrugs* But ye best come b'fore I get angry. *Toothy grin* C'mon, boy. * Feray glances at Rion worriedly. Rion... * Rion looks back to the others. * Don't worry, I'll be back. I'll make these idiots think twice about messing with us in the first place. Don't do anything rash, though. * Dylan nods * Rion grins. * Me? Rash? Come now.. The pirate snickers but says nothing, waiting for Rion to follow him out the door. Alright but they'd better be careful or I'll show them how THEY like being stabbed in the gut. See you when you return * Feray crosses her arms and glares at the pirate. * Mitsuo coughs a bit. The pirate makes blatantly lewd gesture at Feray. * Dylan growls ...you wish, ugly. ...Hey, Feray, he actually has the mental capability to flip you off. I'm impressed. ;) Okay, buster. Show me to your lamebrained captain. * Feray puts a hand on her hip and looks amusedly at Mitsuo. "I bet that's all he can flip on his body." I would have thought that would be way too difficult for him. :/ The pirate nods, then half leads, half drags Rion out of the brig, locking the door securely behind him. ...(w) Be careful, Rion. * Feray glares at the closed door before exhaling, relaxing. Then she realizes that her stomach still aches and winces once more. She quickly sits down again. Erellisae seems to be rather stunned. She looks worriedly after Rion, but she has stopped struggling against Dylan. She just plunks herself down on the floor now, looking dejected and frowning as she picks idly at the pile of clothes. * Dylan sits down, leaning against the wall, sighing You okay, Feray? Hm? Yeah. The wound has been tended to but it still hurts a little. I can look at it if you want...now that I can see. ^^; * Feray eyes Mitsuo, her face blank before a wry grin lights her lips. "I suppose. Seeing as how I played nurse for you and all." You played nurse for me? When? * Mitsuo bends down and invesitages Feray's wounds. While you were out and Dylan was healing you. ^^; I cleaned your face up a bit. Nothing spectacular. * Mitsuo looks up to Feray, adjusting his glasses and smiling, "Hey...thanks a lot...I really appreciate that." * Feray raises an eyebrow but the joking look on her face is gone, replaced by seriousness. "You'd do the same for me. No big deal." You're right. I would. We're all friends here...ah, there. Hang on... * Mitsuo places his hand on one of Feray's wounds, drawing a bit of healing power into it. * Feray idly ignores how warm Mitsuo's hand is and leans back on her arms as she waits for the magic to work.. * Dylan rolls his eyes, and yawns Anyway, since we're running out of escape plans, maybe I can seduce one of the pirates? What do you think? * Mitsuo winks. Well, there are rumours about seamen. But, I wouldn't rate your chances too highly * Feray laughs! "Oh gods." If we could only get something through that hole on the bottom...maybe we could get a key. It's a little small.. A key fumbles in the lock, and voices mutter outside. * Dylan drags Feray away from the door * Mitsuo blinks, as if realizing something, and checks to see if he still has his sigil. The pirate guard waits outside as Rion enters, followed closely by Captain Gantz! :o * Rion walks in, quiet, uneasy.. * Mitsuo sees that all his belongings are still there, except for his weapons. ^^ * Feray tugs her hands free from Dylan and turns, eyeing Rion and the followers. What the hells? * Feray crosses her arms over her chest. * Mitsuo thinks, "Well, apparently he's got something on Rion we don't know about." We can but hope that one day Rion will trust us enough to tell us. * Feray is silent, glaring at the door. She uncrosses her arms and examines her wounded hands. * Mitsuo sighs, "...Feray." We'd best get those cleaned and bandaged, Feray. I'm alright. It's just splinters, guys. Nothing dangerous or anything. You wanna help me get the door again? Splinters can get infected. And I don't think we'll do any damage to that door. But it is made out of wood...is it magically reinforced? * Mitsuo puts his hand on the door. How would you know, Dylan? You didn't even try. We're both strong, maybe two people could crack it. Ms. Erellisae tried to break it with wind charms.. Yeah, but wind is different on wood than fire is. Fire, huh..? A fire on a ship might not be the best of plans.. ...Good point. Ergh. And, at the least, we should wait for Rion to return * Mitsuo pounds his fist once on the door. * Feray attempts to keep the annoyance and frustration out of her tone, tearing some of the splinters out of her palms with her nails.. Mitsuo, stand back for a moment.. * Mitsuo blinks, and does so. * Dylan eyes up the crack in the door, and lines up a booted foot with it. HRrmmf.. * Dylan smashes his heel against the crack! The crack on the door splinters a bit more, now a little wider...enough for an industrious little animal to possibly wriggle through. :o ...? ...see? * Mitsuo blinks again, and puts a hand to the door. The door is yanked open and Rion is tossed in, the door closing and being bolted, no one apparently noticing the hole at the bottom... * Syri looks up with a sad, tired kwu. * Dylan helps Rion to his feet Rion! Ugh... You okay, Rion? * Mitsuo smiles at Syri, "You want out of here, little guy?" * Rion dusts himself off.. * * Syri perks up a little. "Kwu KWUUU!" The guard outside the door seems to be staring at a pinup poster he's holding in his hands, chuckling and completely oblivious to the little carro. Well, my day has been ruined. Hey. "Good job.." * Syri glances at Pirate Snake and shakes his head, looking around the room for a key * Mitsuo sits down, "Now we wait..." The hall is empty aside from the smelly pirate guard, but across the hall is an old door with an iron lock. There seems to be a crack in the wall next to it. * Syri quietly sneaks over to the crack, trying to push his head into it * Feray waits, wincing as she tugs out another splinter and blood begins to form in the multitude of small wounds. Syri squeezes his way into the dark little room beyond. There seems to be a lot of clutter in here...some of it quite shiny. :D Gold and jewels! It's the pirates' treasure hold. * Syri grins and kwuuuuuuuuuuuuus at the shinies! ^_^ * Syri rolls around in some emeralds :D The happy riches are entertaining for a while. After some time, however, Syri notices a very soft green light pulsing faintly from across the room... * Syri blinks and kwuus more, looking at it with interest * Syri toddles over, wondering if the light is something tasty Syri discovers a tiny little jar with something very small in it, glowing faintly. * Syri grins a little evil carro grin and whaps the jar around with his tail, hoping to break it The jar rolls over and shatters! The object rolls out onto the floor, clattering like stone. * Syri looks around, hoping nobody heard that, and slowly pokes his nose at the object The object just continues to glow very faintly. * Syri gnaws on it a little It tastes like a rock. ^^; * Syri picks it up in his mouth and looks around for anything that might be keylike All Syri sees are gold and jewels. * Syri wonders if maybe this is the key and slowly treks back to the cell Syri slips past the guard again undetected, then makes his way back into the cell, holding the glowing object. Syri? O_o What did you find? * Syri drops it at Mitsuo's feet * Rion blinks at the little Carro.. * * Rion blinks more at the small gem.. * Hmm.. ...oh great. * Mitsuo blinks, and picks the gem up in his hands. He grabbed a shiny object. ^^; A glowing gem? That's the.. weird thing.. ...Yes..This is what I felt.
