The smells of dinner waft from the building behind them. * Erellisae gently walks alongside Cassidy, then walks back and forth along the front, pacing slowly. "Well... that went better than I thought, huh?" ^^ * Cassidy leans back against the wall.. * I dunno.. I didn't like talking about all that bombing and war and whatnot.. it wasn't very pleasant.. * Erellisae nods slowly. "I'm sure... but you're back now. It's okay." ^^ * Erellisae grins, and glances at Cassidy. "... what did you think we'd do?" I'm not sure.. I guess I kinda worried about what you might think.. but, I never did any of this to be cruel.. * Erellisae nods, looking back over the sea. "I'm sure. I knew you must have some kinda reason. I'm surprised you didn't run, though. Having all of us staring you down..." ^^; * Cassidy looks down.. * It's hard to talk about things like that.. I mean, I don't want any of you to be hurt.. * Erellisae smiles, skipping a small stone under the water. "We'll be just fine... most of the time, at least." ^^; "We're adventurers, right?" :D Well.. adventuring is kind of a hobby of mine, more than a profession. Through Rion, I really am #4 though.. if I could talk about half the things I've done, I'm sure I could be #1.. but I really actually don't worry about such things.. Adventuring is second to my job.. which I bet you never thought you'd hear me say. * Erellisae looks up, her curiosity piqued. "Then... what is yo--..." She catches herself, shaking her head and smiling a little ruefully. "Can't tell me, right?" Well.. even if I could, it's hard to explain. I do special jobs that no one else can. * Erellisae nods. "So I imagine..." * Erellisae shakes her head, and smiles. "It's okay. After all, everyone has secrets, right? I mean, I'm actually an Icarian!" :D * Cassidy blinks. * You are? * Erellisae looks down. "Well... no... but it'd be fun if I was, I'm sure!" ^^ * Cassidy laughs, and gazes out to sea. * Nah.. I bet it'd be a hard job. All those people counting on you for stuff. Poor Leen and Feena, I wouldn't want their places for all the treasure in the world. * Erellisae tilts her head to the side, thinking. "Well... I dunno. I mean, Feena was pretty carefree until Gaia, right? I bet it was good fun." I heard she didn't know until that Gaia mess though. So she probably went about her life just the way you're going about yours now. ^^ * Erellisae grins. "I think I'm more living like Justin... running away from home and travelling around the world and all." * Erellisae taps a finger on her chin. "I'd have liked to see Alent, though... too bad we're going the wrong way." ^^; Well, there's lotsa time left in our lives. Nothing saying you won't get there eventually. You gotta keep your chin up. Lotsa adventuring stuff I said as Rion is true. * Erellisae nods. "I don't plan to stop." :D That's a good way to think, Erel. ^^ * Erellisae stands up, and looks across. "What about you? You gonna be okay?" ^^ I'm not sure, really. I guess we'll find out in time. * Erellisae nods. "Thought so... are we likely to get you in trouble?" No.. I'm about the only person who can get me into trouble. So, I could be in trouble.. but I won't know until I check in with my superior. Probably not much trouble though, i hope.. * Erellisae nods. "Well... don't hurt alone, okay? We're all here... everyone helped me this adventure, they'll help you too." ^_^ ... even Natham, I think. Can't exactly curse you if something happens to you, right? ^^; I think that's small consolation. ^^;; I'm sure he'd be just as happy if I were dead. Still, though... we're here for you. Like I said, we won't let you down. 's what friends are for, right? ^_^ I'm just worried.. I mean.. what if another situation happens where I need to do something, and no one disagrees with me, so I go and do it anyways, and then you're stuck back between that rock and hard place again.. * Erellisae shrugs. "You do what you have to, I suppose. Or we help you out... if it's something good." ^^ I mean, I've gotta do all I can to catch y--Rion up, right? ^_~ Well, as long as history records you doing something better than riling up the merfolk like a nest of wasps, I'd say you'd have done okay. ^^; * Erellisae shakes her head, smiling a little wryly. "I'm sure it can be sorted out... no matter what Natham says. There's gotta be /something/." ^^ If I could share but one thing with you, you wouldn't have any doubts. But I'm afraid I can't reveal that one thing. * Erellisae grins. "That's okay. I was sure you had your reasons, but... I wasn't at the same time..." * Cassidy hugs back.. * I'm sorry, Erel.. things weren't supposed to turn out like this.. no one was supposed to be hurt.. * Erellisae shakes her head. "We'll be okay. Besides, it'll be sorted out, right? You pretty much said that much..." ^^ I hope so. There's alot that even I don't know yet. But I guess that's the way the future works, full of all that uncertainty stuff. * Erellisae nods, and steps back. "You just gotta run at it hard. We'll find out." :D * Erellisae moves away.
