Session Start: Thu Jan 31 18:33:43 2002 ==Begin Lude Thingie! This is the way!== Somewhere, a clock chimes the 10th hour, and Mitsuo is very aware of it. Alone in his small room, the sounds and smells around him are too foreign, and he cannot bring himself to find sleep. * Mitsuo tosses and turns a few times in the darkness. He finally sighs once, reaches out to grab his glasses, and sits up in his bed. The room is the same as he left it, only less blurry now with the addition with his glasses * Mitsuo glances around the darkened room for a moment, sighs again, and decides to head off into the common room to work off some of his anxiety. The base is remarkable silent as Mistuo walks down the halls. Upon entering the common area, he sees that he's not the only one with trouble sleeping * Nathan is standing on a table in full armor, throwing several punches and kicks at an invisible opponent. Considering the beads of sweat on his face, he's been at this for a while * Mitsuo blinks, "Nathan?" * Nathan stops in mid-kick and looks over at the voice, "Ah, can't sleep either huh?" No, not really...This place is too strange. You'll get no argument from me * Nathan hops off the table and plunks down in a chair, offering one to Mitsuo * Mitsuo smiles a bit, "Thanks." * Mitsuo plops down as well. I gotta admit, I don't like this place Mitsuo I don't either...They're so paranoid...and they locked us in here... * Nathan nods It doesn't give me a good feeling about thier intentions * Nathan pulls a towel from his pocket and dabs at his face What do you think they're up to? Something they don't think the rest of the world will accept, otherwise there'd be no need for all this secrecy I agree...before today I never have even heard of this group before... * Nathan chuckles slightly What's so funny? You know, this is the exact sort of thing I was supposed to watch out for and warn my people about Really? * Nathan nods, "That's why I was trained and sent to the surface world." We didn't want to be victimized again I'm really sorry all of that happened down there...and being exiled. We didn't want to cause any harm. Honest. * Nathan smiles at Mistuo I know you didn't. Overall I thought everyone behaved rather well down there, considering the situation Well, most of the group did * Mitsuo nods a bit and scowls, "I know you're not exactly thrilled with Cassidy. Neither am I." I don't think most people in the group are. I know Erel is willing to give Cassidy the benefit of the doubt and all.. But I can't do that yet I can't either...but I do admit she's very smart...She seems to know what she's talking about. Maybe she can help us find Justin and Feena. But...I don't know if I can trust her. * Nathan nods I'm just afraid that she'll burn us again and I'll be too slow to catch onto it...like last time. Well, her little dissapearing act isn't going to fool me a second time. If she burns me again, I won't rest until the viper recieves its due I won't either. I'm not gonna let her hurt people like that again. * Nathan look at Mitsuo for a moment ...Yes? I know why most people are involved in this little shin-dig, but not you. Why are you still involved? I was on an errand for my Master...I was to deliever a package to the Sult University...but eventually Miss Leen asked me to go along with the others. So that's it? Just because someone asked you to go? Well...I wanted to go as well. I have some questions that need to be answered... * Nathan raises an eyebrow I know that you're a student, but that sounded awfully serious It's...more personal questions, you could say. And not ones you'd care to go into? No, it's okay. It's just that recently I found out I was adopted. And...Apparently a pendant was from my family...and kept until I was a certain age or something...It dates back to the age of Angelou. I...was just curious about it all. Ah, that old. Well, I can certainly see why you are interested in it so * Mitsuo nods, "I'm happy with the life I have now...but, I am curious about my roots." * Nathan nods in return If I didn't know of my own, I'd be curious too * Mitsuo smiles a bit, "See...it's not really anything that secretive or anything. ^^" No, I suppose not. There' been enough secrets I think :) * Mitsuo chuckles a bit, "Indeed. I feel the rest of the party is pretty trustworthy though." Let's hope so. I don't need any more surprises on that front :) * Mitsuo nods a bit, "...So what exactly is your plan for tomorrow? As in...you got any ideas on what we should do? ^^;" * Nathan thinks I think, it's best that we play by ear for a while, and follow Cassidy's lead. Although it galls me to admit that Yeah, me too...Everyone in the group has their part in this.. Indeed * Nathan look over at Mitsuo, "Feel better now?" * Mitsuo nods, "Yeah, a lot. You?" Yes and no. I don't feel so rotten, but I don't feel safe I don't either...but I don't think they'll do anything to us tonight... * Nathan nods again They have us locked in here. They don't fear us They'll start fearing us once they unlock the door, though. Well, fear may be too strong of a word Concern may be more appropriate You never know...it's a lot easier to fear people than it is to understand them. Naturally * Mitsuo nods, "I'm going to head back to bed...but be careful, okay? And let me know if you see anything weird going on..." Will do Goodnight Mitsuo Good night, Nathan.
