"Come in...?" * Mitsuo opens the door slowly, peers in, and waves, "Hi...^^; Can I come in?" * Erellisae nods, motioning. "Sure. What's up?" ^^ * Mitsuo steps inside, "Nothing really...I just noticed earlier you looked upset...I wanted to make sure you were okay." * Erellisae smiles weakly and plops down on her bed, looking at her pack. "I... got some unusual news. It kinda freaked me out..." Oh? Do you want to talk about it? * Mitsuo looks concerned. * Erellisae looks a little better just for the offer. "Thanks... I just seem to be going round in circles... you better sit down, though." * Mitsuo smiles a bit, and sits, "So...?" * Erellisae stays silent for a while, then looks up. "You know what Gyan said? About Liete's race?" * Mitsuo nods a bit, "Yeah..." And... Alent, and the lost technology... Lumians...? * Mitsuo nods again. * Erellisae looks down, to stare at the floor, her hair covering her eyes. "... I'm sorry. I've been lying to you... to everyone. I didn't even know I was..." * Mitsuo breathes in a bit, and nods, "I see...You found out you were...a Lumian?" * Erellisae makes a small laugh-hiccup, and shakes her head. "Did everyone figure it out before me...?" * Mitsuo shakes his head, "...I didn't really think about it, to be honest....But beleive me, I know how you feel, in part...finding out something about yourself you didn't even know." * Erellisae looks up, holding back tears. "It's not just something, though... it's /everything/. I'm not human..." * Mitsuo turns to Erellisae, "Hey...c'mon. It doesn't MATTER what race you are, Erel. That's not going to change who YOU are." I know that... I know that. But it's hard to believe... and it's hard to know your parents lied to you... * Mitsuo nods, "Yeah...I've been there too, Erel." * Erellisae blinks, then looks across at Mitsuo. "I... I just want to know /why/..." I'm not sure...but they probably did it to protect you. I know... it's what everyone's said...I just... just wish they'd told me /something/... ...Maybe they were afraid to. Maybe they felt it'd hurt you more knowing. Maybe not. I mean...you may not know until you ask them...but I'm positive they didn't mean to hurt you, Erel. ... I know... that's why it hurts that they did... Parents are weird like that....I guess we're not going to understand them till we have kids of our own...the desicions they make. * Erellisae giggles a little. "And I'll wonder /why/ my magically-gifted kid keeps trying to scrabble out the house in the dead of night?" * Mitsuo snickers, "Something like that, or "Why is my baby doing this or that? Why is that boy being so loud? Yada, yada. One day, we'll be talking like them. They say you become your parents, no matter how hard you try not to. ^_-" ...my parents are the stuffiest people imaginable. I hope not. ^^; ^^; My mom whaps me with a ladle if I misbehave. Usually on the head. Sort of like Miss Lily. ^_- * Erellisae giggles, then leans back a little. "... Gyan told me about an island. The last city of the Lumians. Where I was born..." Really? There's an island of Lumians? Not many anymore, he said... just a small town... but still... I assume you want to visit, right? * Erellisae nods, looking across. "Of course... Alent, too..." When we find these cities, you don't mind if I uh...come too, huh? ^^ Of course not! I wanna show /everyone/! :D * Mitsuo grins, "Okay then!" ^^ I'm looking fowarard to it, because we'll find those places, of that I'm sure! * Erellisae nods. "I guess... with me in the party, we're more likely to... be let in..." * Mitsuo nods, "And if they didn't let you in...I'd uh...Make sure they let you in. Probably in a very agressive male kind of way, if you know what I mean. ^^; So they'd better let you in." * Erellisae laughs. ^^; "Uhm... thanks?" ^_~ * Mitsuo blushes a bit, "You're welcome." ^^ * Erellisae runs a hand through her hair, then sighs deeply, wiping her eyes a little. "Sorry about that... it was just too much to take at once..." * Mitsuo nods, "I understand...You actually took that a lot better than I did when I uh...found the truth out about my family." I'd... suspected for a while. Ever since the first temple, those inscriptions, when Cassidy pointed out my ears... too many things. * Mitsuo nods, "...You know now, though. It'll take some time to sink in, most likely. But know that you're still Erellisae, no matter what. :)" * Erellisae nods. "I know... I'll remember. :)" * Mitsuo grins, "...We should probably get going soon...the others are probably waiting for us..." * Erellisae nods, standing, and hefts her pack on her shoulder. "Thanks, Mitsuo. I owe you again." ^^ * Erellisae blinks. "Oh! I have something I was asked to show you." ^^ * Mitsuo stands up and continues to smile, "You don't owe me anything. We're friends, right?" Besides, I owe all of you for saving me from being mermaid food a while back, eh? ^_- * Mitsuo waggles a finger. * Erellisae nods. "Friends... thanks." :) She then fishes out the pendant - the green rock obviously displayed. "Gyan gave this to me..." Oh? * Mitsuo blinks, "...He told me he did." * Erellisae unclasps it from her neck and holds it out. "Here, take a look... I was told to show it to you." ^^ * Mitsuo nods, and takes the pendant into his hands, blinking a bit. (w)...That same feeling... Hm..? ...It's... * Mitsuo shakes his head, "...It's nothing." Here, you can have this back. :) Thanks for letting me see it. * Mitsuo gives the pendant back to Erellisae. * Erellisae smiles, and clasps it back round her neck. "No problem." ^^ * Erellisae then opens the door. "Let's go find us some heroes to rescue!" :D Now, we'd better go before Feray entertains the group with her supposed fork trick waiting for us! ^_- * Erellisae sweatdrops, walking out the room. "Don't remind me... I need to keep you well away from wine." ^^;; That ONLY happened once! Once!
