The afternoon sun shines brightly but gently, although some of the early summer heat can be felt. The travelers have settled into their inn, and it's a quiet day so far, after the morning's revelations... * Erellisae, in her room at the inn, tucks her diary away into her pack, giggles slightly, and heads downstairs to find Mitsuo. ^_^ * Mitsuo is sitting downstairs, reading a book and apparently waiting for Erel. ^^ * Erellisae stifles another giggle, then makes her way quietly up behind Mitsuo, peeking over his shoulder. "Whatcha reading?" ^_^ Oh! Hey, I didn't see you coming. It's a book on Angelouian history... * Erellisae looks at the pages with a little interest. "I never read much about it outside the stuff everyone included with Justin and Feena... well! D'you want to go round the town now?" ^_^ I was just going to ask if you're ready. Let's get going before it gets dark. ^^ * Mitsuo puts his book in his backpack and stands up. ^^ * Erellisae nods, smiling. "Okay. Lead the way!" ^_^ Okay then! ^^ * Mitsuo walks to the door and holds it open for Erel to pass through. The town of Sult is not TOO full of activity, but it is a relatively busy time of day. Shoppers filter through the streets, investigating shops and talking with each other. Students wander past with their heads stuck in the pages of a book. * Erellisae giggles a little, and goes outside. "Thanks." You're welcome. Anything you want to do? ^^; Shopping? Uh... * Erellisae looks around the street, then turns to Mitsuo with a half-shrug. "Wherever you want to go, I don't mind." :) * Erellisae seems to be rather more sedate than normal - while not actively acting serious, she's also not going at 100mph, either. ^^; * Mitsuo hmms, "There COULD be an information desk here. Perhaps they'll have a suggestion?" * Erellisae nods. "Let's go ask the receptionist we talked to earlier, then." ^_^ * Mitsuo nods, "All right. That works!" * Mitsuo leads the way, trying not to bump into the university students with their noses in their books. ^^ The receptionist in the university looks up and smiles as they enter. [Clerk] Oh, hello, back again? * Erellisae follows just slightly behind Mitsuo, looking wide-eyed at the unfamiliar sights and occasionally having to duck out of a book held at head-level. ^^; Yes. We're just looking around Sult and wondered if you had any suggestions on something exciting to do. ^^ [Clerk] Exciting? Hmmm....well, there is the market, or the library, or the park...but those aren't exactly exciting. Sult is a quiet town. But if you're interested in something a bit more unusual, there's the ruins....the monsters have all been cleared out, but they're still filled with artifacts, half of which no one knows the purpose of. * Mitsuo hmms, and turns to Erel, "What do you think? :)" * Erellisae smiles. "Let's go to the park! I wanna see the flowers on this continent. I missed them in Parm." ^^; Okay then. Miss, can you please point us to the direction of the park? [Clerk] Of course. You just go out the main door of the university and turn right. Walk down the street a ways and you'll come right to it. Thank you very much. ^^ Let's go, Erel! The clerk nods, smiling, and goes back to her book. Okay! :D * Erellisae follows Mitsuo out. ^^ * Mitsuo heads towards the park, based on the clerk's directions, and looks about, "Kinda quiet here, huh?" The park is nearby, filled with sunshine and tall, leafy trees that provide shade. There is soft grass and a few beds of wildflowers in many colors, though not so bright as New Parm's. * Erellisae nods slowly, moving forward and kneeling by a flower bed. "Yeah... 's not really been very quiet much these last few days." ^^; * Mitsuo looks at Erel, "I'm curious...how did you decide to travel to Parm? ^^ I mean...*hmms* I'm just curious. :)" * Erellisae looks up at Mitsuo, then smiles a little, looking down. "I grew up reading so much about Justin and Feena... I had to go on an adventure." I see...That's pretty brave. I don't think I could go on one on my own... * Erellisae sweatdrops, looking up a little apprehensively. "Nor do I, at times..." ^^; "...but I met all of you! So soon, too!" :D I know! ^^ That's just it...it's one thing to go on an adventure...but it's another to have companions, I think. It'll be even better! Kwuu! ^-^ * Syri pokes his head out of Mitsuo's bag cutely. See? ^^ Syri agrees! * Erellisae giggles a little, cheering slightly. "True... and every heroine needs her travelling companions, right?" ^_^ Exactly. ^^ * Syri gnaws on the bag. "Kwummm. " * Mitsuo looks down at Syri and sweatdrops. ^^; * Erellisae sighs at Syri. "Syyyrriii... isn't eating my hair enough?" ^^; * Mitsuo chuckles. ^^ I don't mind too much. * Syri tries to wiggle out of the bag and fails, continuing to chew on the bag. "Kwuu." * Erellisae smiles, and shakes her head, before looking down at the flowers again, speaking quietly and chewing on her lip a little. "Besides, Mitsuo... what would've happened if I hadn't been with everyone else when those bugs attacked...?" ...I'm not sure. I guess that's why we have to be thankful that they were. ^^ Kwu. * Erellisae nods a little but stays silent, shifting to hug her knees and still chewing on her lip. * Syri decides it's not worth the trouble and sticks his head back in the bag. * Mitsuo notices the look and frowns, sitting next to her, "Nervous, huh?" * Erellisae nods a little, looking down. "Yeah... heroines aren't meant to be nervous, though..." I'm sure even Justin and Feena were nervous. It's normal when you're heading into something new and uncertain... It's just... I was so certain a couple of days ago... * Mitsuo frowns a bit, "...Well...It's something you want to do, right? I saw your magic...it's quite good. ^^" * Erellisae brightens a little. "You think so? ^^ Thanks... yeah, I want to do it... I've wanted to do this as long as I can remember." «ooc: Of course I think so. Jeez, you're more of a magic twink than I am. Woo! » ^^ I think you're very good. And if you want to do this, nothing should stop you. i mean...you might go back and regret your choice...especially if it's something you've always wanted to do. ... you're right... * Erellisae brightens, rubbing at her eyes a little with a slight grin. ^^ "Sorry... guess I needed that.." ^^; It's nothing. Believe me, I felt the same thing you did...I still do a little bit...but I know I'll never get a chance like this again. * Erellisae nods, smiling better now, before shifting across a little and hugging Mitsuo fairly fiercely. "Thank you..." * Mitsuo blinks a bit at the hug, and blushes lightly, "Y...You're welcome. ^^;" * Syri squeaks, getting squished between Erel's arms and Mitsuo's back. * Erellisae eeps as Syri squeaks, then moves behind Mitsuo and undoes the top of his backpack, looking in concerned. "Syrii! You okay?" ;_; Kwuuu... ;_; * Syri looks up at Erel, seeming slightly hurt. ;_; * Mitsuo helps Syri out of the bag and nuzzles him, "You seem to get beat up a lot, don't you? ^^;" * Erellisae watches Mitsuo check up on Syri, looking a little guilty and with her ears drooping a little. "Sorry..." ^^;; Kweh.. ;_; Kwuu. Nah, don't feel bad. It was just an accident. ^^ I'll try. ^^; Sorry, Syri... do you forgive me...? ^^; ...kwuu! ^^ See? ^_^ Syri's an easy going guy, right Syri? Kwuu. ^^ * Syri gnaws on Mitsu's fingers * Mitsuo erks and tries not to laugh at the gnawing sensation, "Ahem! ^^...Anyway." * Erellisae smiles, then picks a green wildflower, slowly threading it in her hair. "... what about you, Mitsuo? Why'd you decide to come with us in the end?" :) *mamp mamp mamp chew* * Mitsuo pauses, and reaches into the bag, pulling out the pendant given to him by Leen, "...This, partially." * Erellisae looks at the pendant. "It looks... old." ^^; "But pretty, still!" Yeah...It is old. I'm wondering how it's connected to me... * Erellisae hmms, still studying it. "Any ideas...?" ^^; I'm not sure, really...^^; I mean...it could mean anything, you know? * Erellisae nods. "It could belong to your ancestors!" :) * Mitsuo hmms, frowning at that, "Yeah, it could. Just too bad I don't know who they might be... ^^" * Erellisae looks at Mitsuo, worried. "You never knew who your parents were...? I'm sorry..." Er...no. I just found out recently that I'm adopted...*then smiles* It's okay though. The parents I have now...well, my Mom and Grampa...They're family enough. :) That's good... ^^ I wonder how my family is doing...? * Erellisae starts to look pensive again, then shakes her head. "Nope. No nervousness, right?" ^_^ Right. ^_^ I'm sure we'll do just fine! * Erellisae grins. "Yeah!", before looking up at the sky. "We'll get to meet Justin and Feena, too..." Kwu. ^^ * Erellisae sighs a little, happily. ^^ "That'll be so great..." Yeah...and we might meet other famous people too. Who knows? ^_^ * Erellisae giggles happily. "We already met three!" * Mitsuo nods, "Plus we might meet new heroic types as well. :) This is going to be fun!" * Erellisae smiles. "Yeah!" :D * Erellisae then holds her stomach as it grumbles loudly. ^^; "Uhm... sorry. The day's been kinda hectic... think we could head back...?" Probably...the others might wonder where we are... Kwu. ^^ * Erellisae stands up, brushing some loose grass off her dress, before holding out a hand to Syri. "C'mon, you. Time to go back to the inn." ^^_ * Syri hops on top of Erel's head deftly, curling up and kwuuing happily. * Mitsuo smiles and stands up, picking up his backpack, "Let's head back." * Erellisae nods, making sure to hold Syri securely as they make their way back through the groups of students. ^^ * Mitsuo follows behind Erel, trying not to bump into anyone as well. ^^ * Erellisae waits by the door to the inn, Syri between her cupped hands. ^^; "Uhm... could you...?" Oh! Of course. ^^ * Mitsuo opens the door for Erel.
