She peers into the common room for any sign of her companions and/or a good breakfast. * Erellisae, having chimed out her regular ear-splitting cry of good morning, is downstairs grabbing a large breakfast and looking decidedly chipper. * Mitsuo mumbles something and sleeps in a little later than usual. ^^; * Jalanda is sitting in a chair in the room, quitely rocking back and forth. In her hands she juggles and shuffles that strange deck of cards she carries with her, obviously with some purpose in mind. * Nathan saunters downstairs for breakfast ^_^ * Feray is curled up in bed, a pillow firmly held over her head. * Dylan is fetching breakfast, distracting Dill from his plate with a waved sausage Lily waves a bit at Jalanda and Erellisae and Dylan. [Lily] 'Morning... *yawns* Morning folks ^_^ * Erellisae waves, stifling a small yawn and looking around. ^^ Lily waves with a sausage as she fetches breakfast. * Feray wiggles a bit under the covers and peeks out from underneath her pillow hat. She squints in the sunlight. * Jalanda breaks her cartomancer ritual, and looks to Lily as she makes her way in with a gentle nod. "And what an interesting morning it may yet be." Good Morning Ms. Lily. * Mikari is outside catching some fresh air before breakfast. * Nathan looks over at Jalanda as he sits down at the table Oh? Do tell . o O (Bed good. Feray sleepy. Sleep now.) * Feray firmly places the pillow back over her head. Lily yawns. [Lily] I suppose we'd better round everyone up pretty soon...get the others out of bed. Kwuu! * Cassidy quietly enters the common room, looking for the expected breakfast.. * Surprises, dear Nathan. She drops as he moves. ....stupid, cute, fuzzy animal... * Nathan digs into breakfast heartily * Feray grumbles and scritches Syri's head. Kwuu. [Lily] We have to get busy today and find out what's going on in this area. I heard some funny talk last night as we got our rooms; seems there's some turmoil going on. I'd like to know more about it before we head west. Plus we'll need a guide through the jungle... I could dress you up like me! Little strips of cloth.. * Dylan raises an eyebrow as Dill attempts to steal Cassidy's toast You could pass for me. Really. * Mitsuo snoozes still. Dork. * Syri oogles and kind of backs up a little. Not much for loincloths, huh?" * Jalanda slips her arcane cards back into the nebulous expanse of her robe's sleeve, which you notice is a very dark shade of purple today, nearly so black your eyes seem to drown in it. * Nathan munches quietly, "What sort of turmoil?" * Syri bounces a little on Feray's chest. "Kwuu! Kwu kwuukwuuuu! Kwu!" * Cassidy deftly handles her toast, perhaps unconsciously tormenting Dill with a tempting bite.. * I dunno, ma'am. I'd just keep heading west. Getting sidetracked doesn't help us in the end, really. * Erellisae nods, smiling a little lopsidedly. She takes out the black box, eying it slightly. "Think we should check for any messages before heading in?" * Feray laughs! We could get some grapes for your chest. ^_- * Mikari , out of an odd sort of boredom, goes to the outside window below Feray's room and climbs up. [Lily] Near as I can tell, something to do with the jungle people to the west. Not sure of the exact nature of it. Not a war or anything, just some uneasiness, but still... O_o Kwuuu. Kwukwuu. Hmm... Lily ponders Cassidy's words. * Syri kwuus once and stops still, looking towards the window. * Feray sleepily stretches and then raises an eyebrow. "What'cha see?" It's not our problem. Maybe they don't even want us involved, and we'll only cause more trouble. [Lily] True, but I'd like to know what we're walking into. If you run into restless natives, it's good to know what not to do to stir them up more. It will confront us, or we will confront it... * Syri shakes his head, kwuuing quietly.. * Feray cranes her head a bit, still not sitting up. She attempts to bend to see what's outside. * Dylan turns to Erel "Yes, if there's a station here.." * Mikari pops her head through the window. "If you have a moment..." * Feray puts the empty water glass down and exhales. "So, we ready to move today?" ^_- I'm ready when you guys are. ^^ [Innkeeper] Yes, miss...? * Mikari bites her tongue a little bit as it burns to the touch, but then carefully downs the rest as best she can, then smacks her lips. ^_^ * Nathan polishes off a piece of toast Phew... good stuff. Though with luck we shouldn't have to spend another night here... * Feray rubs her eyes a little and nods to Lily. * Erellisae idly peers at the coffee, taking a sip then blinking, before putting the cup down rather fast. ^^; There is quite an unease in the air, and strange rumors abound recently about the local populace. Might you shed some light on these? The man who commented about the coffee to Mitsuo chuckles at Mikari. [Man] Yup. Made from special ingredients found in the Tenkali jungle to the west. But ever since the Talachian government and the Icarian temple took an interest in the ruins and natural resources around here, we've had no end of annoyances from them OR the Tenkali... Both the Icarian Temple and the Talachian authorities have interests in this area's ruins and riches, and the natives are becoming quite restless... * Mitsuo overhears Feray's comment and actually blushes a little, "Perish the thought...." * Cassidy considers something.. * Hopefully at the market we may find a good guide. * Erellisae eyes Feray. "Do not be worried Mikari, I'm sure a fresh perspective would be valued by you more than anyone." * Cassidy casually strolls along, keeping an eye on the surroundings. * * Feray eyes the man to make sure he doesn't get up to leave. * Mitsuo stays behind at the inn to get everything ready. Mikari? * Mikari nods to Jalanda and smiles a little at the opportunity. * Mikari turns to Feray. "Er...?" You wanna go trail Erel a little? ..Not much of a coffee-drinker, Dylan? * Feray says this a little quieter than normal. Hmm? Not often.. it upsets my.. er... composure.. Make sure she gets to where she needs to go safely? Though their brew is.. very.. ermm.. effective. I, uh, don't think the others were worried about their composure all that much.. * Mikari blinks, then looks over to the departing Erel. "Ah, sure, but why? Cass 'n' Dylan are with her..." ^^; * Mikari is also lowering her voice a little. No, she's gone off on her own, I think. It's just that I noticed some of the natives giving her the eye. Makes me nervous after all that crap before. * Mitsuo heads upstairs to pack and stuff. He still seems a bit tired physically even though the coffee has given him some artifical energy. ^^; Hmm? Sure. * Feray nods slightly and feels a little better, slumping down into a chair once again. * Feray buries her face in her arms. * Mikari whisks off to catch up with Erel, trailing her for a moment to see where she's headed before she makes it known that she's following. .. *quietly, muffled* ....ugh....I feel like sh**. * Jalanda nods to Feray's words, sitting down beside her as Mikari departs... * Cassidy gives an understanding nod as she keeps an eye out for prospective guides as the awnings of the shops on the street get a little more brighter and a little more tightly packed. Merchants beginning to call out their wares. * * Erellisae seems to have split off from Dylan and Cassidy. She's ambling fairly randomly, looking around both at the scenery and searching for something. Sue's communication box is in her hand. ^^ * Mikari thinks to herself as she trails, and decides to let her go on her path for now. This is partially because Erel doesn't seem to be paying much attention to what is behind her, and also out of pure curiousity. * Feray blinks and lifts her head slightly as she notices Jalanda suddenly beside her. She tiredly lowers her head back onto her arms, feeling too weak to even bother holding her head up any longer. A couple of burly men fall in unobtrusively behind Erellisae and Mikari. They may not even notice at first, unless they are watching behind them... * Jalanda whispers, "Your struggle is seeming more difficult today..." * Feray mumbles. "I feel tired today, that's all. Just wanna sleep. But it's okay, I know we have things to do." As Cassidy and Dylan walk through the busy but not crowded streets, they see a dark-skinned man lounging against a building, whistling softly to himself. * Jinaro is leaning on a nearby building, keeping an discreet lookout and whistling. * Cassidy looks up at Dylan, glancing at the stranger. * Hmm.. potential? Hmm. Worth asking, certainly. * Dylan approaches the fellow * Cassidy speaks up. * Hey. You. * Jinaro stops whistling and looks up. "What yal be lookin for?" We are seeking a guide to the parts west of here.. Anywhere in particular? * Dylan looks to Cass * Jalanda doesn't say anymore, but places her good hand on Feray's shoulder, squeezing it slightly. The woods is our principal interest. Rather, getting through them relatively unhindered. * Feray turns her head a little to gaze at Jal, eyes watering for a second before she nuzzles her face into her arms. She coughs a little. "Hey, don't worry about me! I'm tiptop!" * Dylan nods The jungle eh? You know it? Pretty much, yep. Course I do. Me village in that jungle. Ah. Can you find us safe passage through then? Sure can. For a fee of course. Gotta make money somehow. Of course. * Cassidy pffts. * Obviously. How much? * Jinaro pulls out a little piece of paper which he has written on. Standard charges for guidance through different areas. Did yal want passage through the entire jungle or to my village? How does your village feel about visitors? Is there something at your village of note? Well, I think the food is good. * Jalanda still remains calm and quiet, she obviously sees right through Feray's brave face, but tries to give her an encouraging smile all the same. Is it on the way, if we just passed straight through? I would prefer just to pass through the woods and be done with it. Hmm. Depending on the length of journey, stopping there may be usfeul anyway Other then that.. No. Other then them ancient ruins. * Feray exhales noisily and waits for someone to come back, twitching a little... "I hope Erel is alright." * Dylan raises an eyebrow Ruins? Yep Hmm. It may be worth looking into, how long since you were last at home? * Jalanda arises from her chair, and stretches once. "Things are falling into motion... perhaps I should also see to her, then." Anything special about these ruins? I suppose there must be, if you'd make mention of htem. * Mitsuo walks downstairs finally, and looks up to Jalanda and Feray, blinking. You'd have to find her first. Heya, 'suo.... I was there only a few days ago. I like the food. * Feray doesn't lift her head, instead lifting a hand to wave. * Jalanda glances over at Mitsuo, nodding respectfully. Special about them ruins? Well there is....no, nothing special. Had any strange people passed recently? A man and woman perhaps? Hey Feray. You okay? Pfft. We've tortured the guy with questions enough, Dylan. Do you want the trek with village, or no village? Eh. Had better days. Don't worry, I'll be bright and perky in a little bit. With village would be preferable, assuming it does not conflict with your play, Ms. Cassidy. Oh, I include a stop by me village if you choose the entire jungle. * Mitsuo nods a little, understanding. He rummages through his bag, pulling out his old overcoat, and walks to Feray, wrapping it around her shoulders to keep her warm. ^^ Oh and about anyone else crossing. * Feray blinks a little and straightens, touching the jacket. "Mmph...thanks..." We'll go to the village for now, though we may also contact you again about completing the passage through the rest of the forest. I believe Feray just needs a little more time to greet the day... why not stay with her a bit. The air outside calls to me, I should not ignore it. I seem to remember someone claiming to cross the sea. Thats suicide to me. * Dylan grins Okay Jalanda... * Feray arches an eyebrow at being assigned a babysitter. Thank you. There's nine of us travelling.. * Jalanda bows in her usual fashion and goes outside of the inn for a little bit, perhaps to find Erel, perhaps for something entirely different... * Mitsuo shrugs a little. ^^; Lets see. To the village...thats 250 even. * Feray glances at Mitsuo and hunkers back down in her chair, nuzzling her face into her arms with a soft sigh. We are staying in the Dusty Salamander, if you could meet us there after making your preparations? * Mitsuo takes a seat next to Feray and keeps quiet so she can rest. ^^ I'll meet yal there. Just need to put on me work boots and grab me machete. Okay. Sounds good. Meanwhile, the group of burly men tailing Mikari and Erellisae has grown from two to three. ^^; Erellisae, likely not noticing this, spies a communication box up ahead, next to a brick building that looks like a restaurant... Well, Dylan.. let's get back. Hopefully they're not too jittery and irritatingly hyper yet. * Erellisae grins, making a sound of triumph and beelining for the box. ^^ * Dylan nods, and strolls back, window-shopping along the way As Erellisae checks for messages, she finds that there are none this time. :/ * Mikari eyes the slowly growing group behind her. She realizes trouble is brewing, and is looking for an opportunity to warn Erel and lose them, before they realize she is aware of their presence and jump the both of them. * Erellisae 's ears droop a little, and turns round to head back to the inn. ^^; The men stand back nonchalantly, looking as if they weren't following, but as Erellisae heads back toward the inn, they follow... * Erellisae tries to work out retracing her steps, given her rather ambling outward path. ^^; Erellisae is followed by Mikari and three large men. It's like her own set of groupies! * Erellisae stops at an intersection, trying to figure out which way to go, glancing around. ^^; As Erellisae approaches the inn, the men stop acting nonchalant and approach her and Mikari, frowning. * Erellisae looks around the paths ahead of her with a small sigh, before she shrugs and starts off slowly down one, looking around for landmarks. ^^; * Mikari jumps up beside Erellisae, her cover now certainly lost. One of the men growls at Erellisae. [Man] You, there....you the little mage girl? Erel... we've got some trouble. * Erellisae blinks, turning. ^^; "Uhm... well, I'm little, I know spells, and I'm female, so... uh... yes?" ^^; * Mikari narrows her eyes and shoots a hateful glare at the men. One of the men leers at Mikari. The men walk forward, effectively pressing Mikari and Erellisae into the doorway of the inn. A couple more men have joined their group, and one rather scarred and tough-looking woman. They look at the two menacingly. The first man grumbles at Erellisae. [Man] Icarian Temple's lookin' for ya, right? What ya been doing to 'em? And why'd ya have to bring that trouble with ya here? * Mikari intensifies her glare, to the point where it looks like it might make a leer shoot back into its originator and spontaneously combust, killing him. The scarred woman growls low in her throat at Mikari. * Erellisae blinks, before glaring back, standing her ground. "That depends. Are you in support of them or not?" *narrows her eyes even more* Stay away from her, y'pitiful, lard-ridden, inept lumps of flesh. A second man grumbles. [Man] We'd gladly leave 'em well enough alone, if they'd leave US alone. You brought 'em here, didn't ya? Well, you c'n just go back where ya came from, ya hear? The noise is starting to grow, and those of the party still in the common room of the inn can hear the commotion now... ...? « Ooooh. Think imitating accent's gonna scare me, ehhh? » * Feray stands, shrugging Mitsuo's old trench on further....she casts him a worried look and hurries for the door, opening it... * Erellisae shakes her head, looking concerned. ^^; "Wait, Mikari...! Look, I didn't bring the Icarian Temple here...! I don't want anything to do with them! Show me where they are and I'll happily help you get them out of here!" ^^; * Mikari puts a finger on Erel's collar and starts to pull her back, on the verge of bolting into the inn. * Mitsuo quickly follows Feray. ...? What's going on out here? * Mitsuo blinks a little, "Who are you people?" * Erellisae sweatdrops, looking back at Feray. "The Icarian Temple is here and out looking for me, apparently..." ^^;; Oh really? ...(w) Again? And these nice people thought they'd do what exactly? [Woman] Don't matter to us what you meant to do, missy. If you leave, they leave. Got that? Get outta town, or we'll /make/ you! The crowd has swelled quite a bit now... ^^;; * Feray raises an eyebrow at the woman and brushes past Erel and Mikari, standing in front of them protectively. ... * Feray glares at the woman. Why don't you try and make ME, little girl? One of the men leers at Feray. The woman snorts derisively. Look...Feray... * Erellisae looks down at the ground, then sighs heavily. ^^; "Alright... I'll go. We're leaving soon anyways, right, guys?" * Mitsuo whispers to her, "We are leaving town...so why rile them up?" * Mitsuo nods. The woman launches herself at Feray! In a few heartbeats, the group has spilled inside the common room of the inn, many of them shouting angrily! Hey! O_O * Feray growls and grapples with the woman! * Mikari leaps back into the room, grabbing Erel by the wrist to pull her away from the other men! ==Session Pause== This game is based loosely on the game "rock, paper, scissors". Basically, here's how it works: It's divided into rounds, as many rounds as necessary. Each individual round is like one game of "rock, paper, scissors". When it's a player's turn, that player chooses an action. This action can be anything they like, and should be roleplayed as well as possible. You fight one person at a time, and each round, each of you gets ONE action. You declare what it is, and I will tell you who wins the round. Examples of things you can do are punching, kicking, tripping, throwing chairs, throwing other combatants, biting, hair pulling, scratching, bashing beer bottles on people's heads... :P Be creative. The first loss of a round results in a level of damage. Every player starts at full health, that is, upright state. One lost round results in a damaged state, either bruised or grabbed. A second lost round leaves the player stunned. While stunned, the player cannot act until three more rounds have passed or until another player uses a round to heal them (any healing spell or positive status spell can work, such as stat-increasing or status healing spells like Diggin' or Cure). When stunned, a player is not dead; they may be unconscious, but more likely they are just dazed and cannot act for a bit. Being attacked or thrown while stunned can knock you unconscious, meaning only certain spells will be able to bring you around. This is up to GM discretion. The difference between being bruised and grabbed is based largely on the type of attack. Let's say an attacker comes at you, defeats you in that round, and grabs you as a result of their attack. Once they have grabbed you, they may fight another round. If you win, you break free and return to upright state. If you lose, you are stunned. However, if an enemy has grabbed you, the two of you may only fight each other, unless someone else attacks your enemy in an effort to set you free, or your enemy chooses to throw you in an attack on someone else. Being thrown will instantly send you to stunned status. If someone else frees you from grabbed status, you return to upright state. Being bruised is somewhat different in that you cannot return to upright state by winning another round, only by being healed. Whether you are bruised or grabbed depends on the type of attack made on you. The fight is won or lost when all of one side is stunned at the same time, or when someone attempts to break up the fight and succeeds. When the fight ends, the side with the most players standing wins. It is not a foregone conclusion which side will win. Either way, you get weapon EXP to divide up as you please (no magic EXP, unless you actually used a spell in combat, and that will be up to GM discretion). If the party wins the fight, character EXP will also be awarded. As for which kind of attacks defeat others, you don't get to find that out unless you figure it out during the course of the game. ^_~ GM will determine it. ==Session Resume== As the woman leaps at Feray, Cassidy and Dylan return to the inn, seeing the fight begin! O_o Whoa! I leave you guys alone for a second, and look what you do! O_o Woman 1 grapples with Feray! Feray's action... * Feray frees up her hand and attempts to sock the woman in the nose! The woman is punched in the nose just as her fist connects with Feray's gut! The woman is bruised; so is Feray! * Feray whuffs ;_; * Dylan steps foward STOP THIS! * Man4 eyes Dylan and heads in the general direction. "What do you want?!" * Mitsuo steps back a few paces, standing in front of Erel. * Syri blinks tiredly and peeks out of Mitsuo's pack, where he'd taken refuge a while ago. "Kwuu. Kwuu kwuu kwuuu?!" * Dylan ignores man, and tries to grab Feray and Woman by scruff of neck * Erellisae blinks, stumbling backwards as the fight starts, then looking perplexed, then confused, then /pissed off/ at the woman grappling Feray. "Don't /HURT/ her!" She grabs her staff, aiming to get the woman off of Feray. * Mitsuo wideyes. O_o * Dylan tries to shove Man4 out of the way, slamming his palm into his chest. * Man 4 takes a beer bottle and goes to bash it on Dylan's head. Dylan shoves the man back before the beer bottle can connect! Man 4 is bruised! * Mikari puts her dukes up and readies herself to do something unexpected when a window opens. There's no need for violence, folks. * Mitsuo keeps back for now, ready to fight if provoked. Erellisae attempts to shove the woman away as woman 1 tries to trip Erellisae! She misses; Erellisae knocks the woman back into a table. She falls over, stunned! * Erellisae looks around, shouting. "You got what you wanted! I'm /leaving/! Stop it..!" * Jalanda is nowhere to be found, but in the midst of the intense fighting, a singular streak of motion blurs by the combatants towards Man 3, landing by his feet. Man 3 turns to face Jalanda, growling low. Jalanda's action... * Feray rubs the bruise on her stomach and looks impressed by Erel's move. She takes a deep breath.. * Mikari oogles at Erel's highly functional battering ram attack O_o; * Erellisae sweatdrops. "Thought I'd take your advice. Little mages have a lot of mass." :D She offers a hand to help Feray up. Man 2 lumbers toward Mitsuo, muttering profanity! * Jalanda appears from the other direction, the blur showing itself to be a singular card. The Devil. With a graceful motion she attempts to plant her good elbow right in the man's flank. ...Aww shoot. * Feray chuckles and accepts Erel's hand, standing. She arches an eyebrow. "Nice. Uh oh. Mitsuo!" * Mitsuo takes a deep breath, and kicks his leg upward, trying to aim for that one place where the sun doesn't shine. ^_^ "Back off!" * Syri hops out of Mitsuo's pack and lunges at Man 2 at the same time Mits kicks him! Jalanda's elbow hits at an angle, sliding off without winding the man, as he turns and kicks her in the gut! Jalanda is bruised! * Jalanda overcorrects her motion and takes a hit to her vitals. She looks up from her hood, not at all pleased. Perhaps strangely amused. * Cassidy scouls and draws out her sword, intentionally causing a loud rasping noise as she brings the weapon to bear. * Enough of this! Man 2 tries to counter by clawing at Mitsuo! Mitsuo is scratched in the face; the man doubles over in pain. Both bruised! Erel! Help Mitsuo! * Mitsuo gurks and stumbles back a little. ...well then... * Syri growls and bites at the man's neck! "KWUU!" * Erellisae nods, confidence rising as she readies for another bull rush. ^^; Attempting to recover, Man 2 aims a kick at Syri. He misses! He gets a faceful of angry carro. ^^;; Stunned! * Feray rushes towards Jal's aggressor, attempting to leap onto his back! * Syri snarls and raises his hackles. "Kwuuuuuuuuuu..." Thanks Syri.. ^^ * Syri nods once * Man 6 fires a glare at Cassidy. "Your sorry little plastic sword won't help your sorry arse." * Mikari runs straight past the confusion and runs towards the bar in an attempt to take the 4th Man by surprise! She swings her fist in a punching feint, then slides under his arm to fake him out! Mikari grabs a beer bottle from the bar and swings it directly at Man 4's head.... * Cassidy's vision narrows, eyes flashing with fire. * So, you want to be the example then? * Cassidy lowers the blades point, and charges! * * Cassidy quickly spins around at the last moment, bringing up the flat of the blade to smash into the head of Man 4! * I'll show you a real weapon. *picks up a chair and lobs it at Cassidy* Cassidy ducks, avoiding the chair, and smashes the flat of her blade into Man 6's head! Man 6 is bruised! * Syri proceeds to hop up and lunge at Man 4, now, intent on knocking him all down like Garland! :O * Cassidy snarls. * Doesn't feel like plastic, doesn't it? * Dylan catches the flying chair, and drops into a defensive pose.. Next time I'll ram it right through your gut if you don't back off and take these fools with you! Why oh why must people be so hasty.. Shut up you sorry arse. I'll get you next time. * Syri decides to wait a while. No really. Any day now. * Man 4 turns and goes to grab Mikari by the neck as she attacks. Man 4 attempts to grab Mikari by the neck, but she smashes the beer bottle into his skull before he can do so! Man 4 is bruised! Ooh, what a cute but ugly animal. I wonder how it tastes. * Syri raises his hackles and goes on the defensive.. * Mikari spits derisively at the downed 4th Man. "Serves ya right." * Syri hops out of the way as the woman lunges for her, giving her a headbutt from behind! Man 1 lurches toward Feray! * Feray waggles a hand at the man before rushing him, attempting to grab him by his fuzzy chin and toss him over her shoulder into the registration counter. * Jalanda catches her breath. "Feray...!" * Dekar_Zol goes to grab the squirrel by the tail and yank said tail off. Man 1 dodges the grab and sweeps a leg under Feray, knocking her feet out from under her! Feray is stunned! * Feray hits the ground with a thump, seeing stars! * Woman 2 goes to yank the tail off too! :P Feray...! O_o Syri headbutts the woman, bruising her in the butt! The woman grasps Syri's tail and pulls; Syri is bruised! * Erellisae blinks in wonder at the woman, before glaring determinedly. "Hey! How could you!? He's just a carro!" * Syri squeaks loudly and whimpers, scurrying away! * Erellisae grrs, her hands glowing a bright red before she shakes her head, rushing towards the woman shoulder first. * Man 5 cracks his knuckles and lunges towards Erel. * Mitsuo growls slightly, and grabs a chair, hoping to strike the woman on the head from behind for beating up a poor defenseless carro! The NERVE :| * Erellisae skids to a halt from her run, turning and bringing her staff up to the man's midriff, hoping to connect. * Man 5 sticks out his big fat fist to attempt to crush Erel's face in as she does this. Man 5's fist connects with Erellisae's head! ;_; Erellisae drops her staff momentarily; she's bruised! * Mitsuo rushes at the woman, and swings a chair at her head! * Erellisae stumbles back, shaking her head and trying to clear the stars. * Woman 2 tries to duck under the chair and give him a good old fashion womanly hair pull. * Syri snarls a little as the pain fades, an almost demonic look crossing his eyes. "Kwuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..." Woman 2 grabs Mitsuo's hair, making him drop the chair! Mitsuo is stunned. * Mitsuo aughs and falls back, seeing stars. @_@ Round Two! * Syri snarls and almost instantly leaps at Woman 2, aiming to claw out her face! Hmph, little rat. * Dylan puts the chair he caught away, at a place at the table, and looks around.. * Woman 2 goes for another tail grab, but time time to take a bite out of the squirrel. * Jalanda ducks under the man teetering from Feray's shove, and does a few hops over the broken glass, her hand glowing with a auburn aura as she dives fro Feray's prone form. "Spirits... grant the strength of the unshakable mountains!" Woman 2 grabs Syri's tail and pulls hard! Syri is stunned! Before he's dazed, he claws Woman 2's face, stunning her as well! * Syri squeaks and thumps against the wall, dazed.. AGH! My face! My beautiful face! Jalanda casts Diggin', strengthening Feray and helping her out of her daze! Feray stands up, prepared to fight again... * Feray grins widely and cracks her knuckles. "Back in the game!" Man 1 leaps at Erellisae! * Jalanda pauses to gather her yet shaken strength, trying to watch Feray's back. * Dylan goes to grab Man3, attempting to grip his neck, and twist his arm into a nelson! * Erellisae tries to shake the fuzz out of her brain enough to duck down and push forward, aiming for another shove that will hopefully be low enough to go under the man's attack. Man 3 slides out of Dylan's grip and kicks him in the shin! Dylan is bruised! * Dylan growls loudly. Man 1 attempts to trip Erellisae up, but she shoves him down before he can do so. He is bruised! Damnit, that was my woman! Hold on...*mumbles very low so no one can hear*...honey. * Man 5 starts his own spell to revive Woman 2. * Feray glances at Jal before rushing for Man 5! * Erellisae phews with relief a little, grasping around for her staff as her head clears a little. * Dylan starts for the coffee jar.. * Mitsuo is still seeing stars :o Man 5 casts a heal spell, restoring woman 2! * Man 5 then turns and sees Feray. "Aww sh**." * Man 5 sticks out a broken bottle in front of him as defense. Feray knocks Man 5 over, slamming him into the floor! He is bruised. Man 3 dives at Dylan! * Man 5 flies up against the wall, his bottle flying out away from his hand. * Dylan tries to grab him by the throat, pouring coffee down his mouth, thus leaving him a twitching overcaffienated wreck on the floor. Man 3 grabs Dylan's ears and yanks, then is left drowning in caffeine. O_o Dylan is stunned, man 3 is bruised! * Dylan sits, talking to the pretty birds. * Man 6 charges towards Mikari. * Mikari reacts immediately to the attack, which is rather intimidating. AAAHHHH!!! * Mikari shouts loudly and barrels over the table, landing with both feet running. She leans her head and shoulders down and to ram Man 6 in the stomach and pin him to the floor. >_< * Man 6 continues to charge forward and do the same to her. Mikari manages to grab and hold Man 6! Man 6 is stunned! Ugh...get offa me. Get off of me mate! *runs towards Mikari* Heh. Come'n get 'im, ugly. ^_^ * Erellisae grrs back. "You get off /my/ friend!" She winds up, aiming to bring the staff across the woman's gut. * Woman 2 continues to run towards Mikari, set on pinning her down much like she is doing to the guy right now. Thanks a heap, Erel. *gives the 6th of the bunch a good choke squeeze to the neck for comfort* ^_^ Woman 2 pins Mikari against the wall! O_o Mikari is grabbed! How do you like it b****?! * Erellisae grrs, bringing the staff down on the woman's head. "I said /stop/!" * Mikari squints in surprise that the annoying woman was able to break through. >_< * Jalanda gets another moment, noticing Mitsuo and Dylan down... this will not do... * Dill sits on the breakfast table.. too stuffed to move.. * Woman 2 continues to down Mikari, and at the same time she picks up a nearby chair with her foot and lobs it back towards Erel. The sheriff stands in the middle of the room and sighs. "What happened here...?" Spirits of Water.. Spirits of Beans.. rise and refresh us all with your buzz.. Argh! Lemme go you donut eating bastard! * Jalanda tries to rouse Mitsuo with an infusion of healing energy. * Dylan flicks coffee high into the air, casting Alheal on everyone.. including the thugs * Mitsuo mumbles softly, and manages to come to, "...What was the number on that chair...X-x" * Erellisae pipes up from the corner. "These villagers wanted me and my group to leave the village... I agreed, but one of them attacked my friend, and the fight started..." Most of the thugs are dragged away. After questioning a few of the inn's other patrons, the sheriff soon decides Erellisae is telling the truth... * Mikari gives Mitsuo a hand up whilst talking to the police. "They followed us to the inn. We didn't start anythin'." [Sheriff] *Sighs* All right, I believe you. But please, try not to cause any more public disturbances, all right? * Jalanda stands, rubbing her stomach mildly. * Mitsuo nods a bit, rubbing his swollen cheek. The remaining police shuffle off out the door. The innkeeper stands in the room, looking around ruefully at the damage to his common room. Hey Sheriff. Do I get anything for telling yal about this? :D * Mikari snorts. "It'd be my pleasure. Not that I don't like brawlin', but not on their terms." « I broke a bottle!! :D » * Erellisae watches the police go, sweatdropping and murmuring to herself. "Uhm... okay, I'll try not to wilfully have people follow me... hardly my fault..." ^^;; * Mitsuo sits in a chair, keeping mum. * Jalanda looks apologetically to the innkeeper. "My deepest regrets for such a scene..." The sheriff sighs and looks at Jinaro. [Sheriff] My thanks...? The innkeeper shrugs. [Innkeeper] It happens...I know it wasn't your fault. The police will get the attackers to reimburse me at aleast in part. * Jinaro sighs and shrugs. "Aww..well you win some and ya lose some." The sheriff leaves. * Jinaro walks over to Dylan. I wonder who those people really were...? * Erellisae looks across, looking weary, her ears drooping. "Just villagers... they wanted me out. They didn't want the Icarian Temple snooping around." * Jalanda sighs. "It is evident our time here is past. Or else, more unfortunate suprises will befall us. And the people here." * Mitsuo frowns, "Poor Erel... :/" Hey, thanks for calling the Sheriff. * Jinaro looks at Dylan. "I guess this is your friends that are comin with us through the jungle?" Indeed. Please help yourself to a drink while we make introductions, I'll pay.. * Mikari sighs and leans over with her hands on her knees, to catch her breath. Ahh, I would but.. * Jinaro holds up a broken glass and looks around. And I'm not to fond of the coffee here. Hmpf. Suit yourself.. * Jalanda glances aside to Jinaro, realizing who he is, then begins busying herself with righting and replacing random furniture. Just curious. ^^; * Jalanda studies Jinaro from her place, calmly sitting in the exact spot she was in before, as if the entirety of the recent events had not even happened. ^^; Well, after all of that I guess you all aren't ready yet.
