Session Start: Fri Oct 12 19:24:02 2001 ==SESSION START!== The sun is bright and the day is quiet in the town of Sult. Most of the students are in class, but some are out in the town, being rambunctious and pretending to study. It looks to be a good day for traveling. * Feray saunters downstairs from her room and slumps into a chair in the general eating/reception room, blinking because she's the only one there. . o O (...trust me to get into traveling with a bunch of sleepyheads.) ^^ There appears to be a sort of buffet set up in this particular inn, with the food steaming in trays under a row of hot lamps on one side of the room... * Dylan is picking at the food with a fork slowly * Mitsuo heads downstairs, one of the first ones awake for once. He slugs his backpack over his shoulder and smiles when he smells the arouma of food. So while servers occasionally bring in some more food and smile at the guests, there is not too much employee activity. * Dill is flapping around Dylan's head, looking a bit quiet. A slightly burn mark shows on the tip of his wing * Feray rests her chin in her hand, noticing Mitsuo and waving cheerfully. ^^ * Syri hops in Mitsy's backpack, intending to get his own rest. ^^ * Erellisae walks downstairs without the customary good morning cry, rubbing her eyes and looking a little blearily around. ^^; She spots the members of the group around the table, and waves a little wanly to everyone. * Jalanda is actually already downstairs but she seems to be contemplating something quite seriously, and is only mildly paying attention to her breakfast accountryments. * Mitsuo waves back, smiling, "Good morning! Everyone sleep okay?" * Feray grins. "I did. Beds sure beat the ground for sleeping on." * Feray stands and heads for the food, trying some of the more meatier tidbits with a fork before shovelling some onto a plate. * Erellisae plunks down in a chair, shaking her head and trying to focus on breakfast. >< Hmmmpf... is good food.. Mm. It would seem so. ^_- * Mitsuo nods, "I bet. ^^; Hmm...what do they have to eat today?" * Rion staggers down the stairs, half asleep still and decked out in his rumpled clothing.. * * Feray spears some of the food on her plate onto a fork and waggles it at Mitsuo. "By the looks of it, it doesn't really matter. It's going fast." ;) * Jalanda has some of her tea, which seems to be becoming a trademark. As Erellisae plunks down across from her, she looks up from her depe musings. "Are you troubled this morning?" A young woman in khaki slacks and a blouse walks purposefully across town, her purple hair tied back and a wide-brimmed hat perched on her head. Sturdy boots cover her feet, and a heavy backpack hangs from her shoulders. A loud winged creature circles her head excitedly. * Rion lets out a big yawn as he strolls over to the buffet, picking up a plate. * * Dylan flips some food onto a plate and puts it on a table. * Erellisae murmurs a noncommittal answer, her head drooping as she starts to doze off again. ^^; * Dill flaps down and starts mcuhnig * Mitsuo picks up a plate and puts a decent amount of food on it, and sits down at a table next to Feray. * Feray grins and digs in happily to her food, sighing joyfully at the taste. "Mm. This is so good." ^^; * Dylan paces back and forth, occasionally sitting down just to stand up again.. * Rion, content with his heap of assorted food, returns to the table, dropping down in no particular place. The blue haired boy commences shovelling. * The door to the common room of the inn opens, and Sue pokes her freckled face in, looking around for her traveling companions... * Dylan waves * Mitsuo eats polietely, "I'll say...nothing beats a home cooked meal though. ^_-" * Mitsuo blinks and notices Erellisae looks sleepy, "Erel...?" Good Morning, Ms. Sue. Care for some breakfast? * Jalanda considers Erel's droppy state, lookign vaguely concerned at the lack of energy this morning. * Feray waves at Sue cheerfully before glancing at Erel. "She didn't get much sleep last night, apparently." Sue nods and enters, joining them at the table. [Sue] Oh, no thanks, Mr. uh....Cow? Sorry, I'm terrible with names. ^^; Anyway, I've already eaten. * Dylan coughs amusedly Dylan. Dylan of Laine * Mitsuo nods, and pours a cup of coffee, pushing it towards Erellisae. It's Dylan, there, Ms. uh... Chickie-boo. [Sue] Anyway, morning all. You guys sure sleep late, don't you? * Rion returns to shovelling. * ...Chickie Boo? --; * Aldrea runs into the inn frantically. "Someone tell me what time it is!! Quick!!" * Feray chokes on her food slightly at Rion's words. "You did not just call her-...gack!" O.o * Mitsuo tries hard not to laugh. ^^; [Sue] Sorry about that. Morning Dylan! I'll remember your name from now on, I promise. * Feray looks up at Aldrea in surprise. ^^; * Dylan glances around for a clock Her eyes narrow at Rion. [Sue] Chickie-boo...? * Mitsuo acks at Aldrea's entrance and nearly chokes on his food! O_o Ah, miss Sue... I actually have been up quite early this day. I'm afraid my scrying had nothing of note however... * Aldrea . . . blinks. * Feray swallows and pats Mitsuo on the back. ^^; * Rion blinks, finishing off a forkload of food.. * * Erellisae 's head touches the table, before she urks and perks up, blinking around the room and shaking her head with a sweatdrop. "Uhm... sorry.. ^^;" Ermm.. Why is it so... haven't we met? * Mitsuo coughs, "^^...Thanks." Sue looks around, blinking at the new arrival. [Sue] Uh...why is everyone staring? Who is she? Busy today, are we? ...Some of us met that girl on the steamship we took to Parm. Aldrea... you are a little bit late, I see. Well, you know me! I have important business to attend to. [Sue] Ahh, I see. Traveling companion of yours? Or just an acquaintance? *Nods a greeting to Aldrea* If you know what I mean . . . * Feray arches an eyebrow, taking stock of Aldrea before chewing on some more food thoughtfully. ^^; I believe just an acquaintance... [Sue] Oh? *raises an eyebrow* What kind of important business? Hmm? Oh, just someone we met when we arrived in Parm... * Dill flaps over to Erel and puffs worriedly JUST someone you met in Parm . . . How sweet. * Mitsuo sweatdrops and blushes. ^^; Hmm? I'm sorry.. did I offend you? * Aldrea sighs. Sue blinks. [Sue] Uh, were you here about the job that was being advertised as offered by the university...? Hmm? Sorry.. did I offend you? * Jalanda takes another sip of her tea, smiling faintly. Me? Of course! Why else would I be in this backwater town? * Feray listens in amusement. ^^ * Erellisae blinkblinks at Sue's voice, then she blinks and scans the room with rather more focused eyes. "Sue! Yay!" ^_^ Erellisae zips across the room, hugging her. * Rion hops up, feeling a little more invigorated, and goes to get seconds. * A-men to that, sister. Sue bristles slightly, but does her best to shrug it off. [Sue] Well, unless you're with these guys, I guess you're out of luck. They've got the job. *Jerks her thumb at the breakfasting party* Grrrrrrr . . . ...Uh oh ^^; [Sue] Ack! O_o *Nearly falls over as Erellisae hugs her* And just WHO has the job?!!!!!! * Dill flaps after Erel, puffing merrily now she seems to have regained some energy Which ONE of you? * Feray shrinks away slightly from Aldrea and murmurs to Mitsuo. "You're a man right? If she goes nuts, will you protect me?" ^_- * Mitsuo coughs and speaks in a little voice, "We all do, ma'am." [Sue] Uh, these guys. Right here eating breakfast. *Points to Erellisae, Dylan, Rion, Feray, and Mitsuo* * Mitsuo coughs more! O_o * Erellisae turns from hugging Sue, waving a finger. "All of us! Every adventure needs a party of heros and heroines!" :D This is not a task for one person, miss Aldrea. It is quite important... Uh...sure? ^^; I DON'T BELIEVE THIS! [Sue] O_o Uh....gee, I didn't know the task was such a popular one. Don't get upset, Aldrea! ^^; Just....come along with us. * Syri jumps, bumping the top of Mitsuo's backpack. "Kwuuuuu?!" O_o; Come . . . with you? Are you serious? * Rion returns, and goes about shoveling down his seconds. * * Feray sweatdrops. Well, I'm sure if the University can afford a extra employee, there's no reason not to have another travelling companion, safety in numbers and all Well, yes. * Mitsuo glances at Feray if she's slightly nuts. O_o Sue looks at Jalanda. [Sue] You're a seer, aren't you Miss? What do you see about this girl? * Erellisae releases her hug on Sue and seems to notice breakfast for the first time, grabbing some food and bringing it to the table before digging into it. ^^ * Feray sweatdrops even more and wonders if she's being wrong in being a peacekeeper * Dylan shrugs * Rion speaks, his mouth half-full again. * Well, it's all or nothin' as far as you're concerned, Miss whoever-you-are. * Jalanda puts down the cup. "She was there during that moment of synergy. She bears the great star of opportunity." * Aldrea is confused. I wouldn't think of not having your company in this endeavor. Sue nods. [Sue] Well then, miss...Aldrea, was it? These guys have invited you along. What do you say? [Sue] The university would pay you as well for the job, to be sure.. * Feray murmurs softly, more to herself. ^^; "See? I'm not insane. They're gonna invite her along anyway." Hmph! Why not . . . ? I might have some fun. Maybe. * Dylan smiles and holds out a hand to shake Sue nods. [Sue] Well, so long as you can keep up the pace. We should probably tell you what this is all about then...have a seat and some breakfast, okay? Welcome aboard, Aldrea! Thanks guys! * Erellisae finishes her food and watches the conversation, cheering. "Yaaaay! More people!" :D * Aldrea suddenly seems more 'warmed up' as she sits down for food. There is no need for thanks. perhaps the heart you seke lies across the great sea... Hey, Jal! Can you tell us if Rion is gonna be the number one adventurer like he says? ^_- . o O ( Curse my adventurous soul.. I could be having a nice simple farming life, but nooo... gotta see the world... ) * Rion laughs! * Who needs a seer for that! Of course I'll be! * Erellisae looks at Feray, ears drooping. "No way! I'm gonna be the number one!" * Jalanda glances over to Feray bemusedly. "That is up to him. Great deeds never go unnoticed." [Sue] All right, all right, enough arguing. I think we all KNOW who the number one adventurer is, and we have to go FIND him, in case you'd forgotten! So eat up, okay? *winks* Better to be #5 and a great man, than #1 and a fool. (Ha ha ha . . . shutup cow.) Nah.. #1 and greatness for me. That's my future for sure. Just you watch! * Feray grins in amusement and finishes her food. She winks at Erel. "Hey, prove him wrong." * Mitsuo eats his food polietly. ^^ * Rion stands up, and goes for thirds.. * [Sue] So! Down to business. * Erellisae mock-hmphs, tilting her nose up at Rion. "Fine! I will!" * Feray links her hands together and waits for Sue to say what she has to. ^^ * Dylan sits down quietly [Sue] What's your guys' plan? And do you have a leader of sorts? Or is everyone just gonna do their own thing? * Erellisae pays more attention to Sue. ^^; ...I never really thought of a leader type, to be honest. Hmm. ^^; A leader? I can be the leader!!!!! * Rion returns with another mountainous plateful, sitting down. * [Sue] I mean, you don't HAVE to have one....I'm just asking. If you can work well together as a group, you may not need one... . o O ( ... ) (Not with this group . . .) [Sue] If you don't have a leader, that's fine then. Next question. What's your plan? Have you got one? If not, let's work one out. I'm the man for the job.. I mean, I'm ranked #4, n'all. I think.. that it's something we'll sort out as the journey continues * Erellisae looks around, confused. "But... every party's gotta have a leader..." Sue grins at Rion. [Sue] Tell you what...we'll see. If someone becomes a leader, then so be it. Otherwise we're all equals, okay? It does? O_o * Feray chuckles at Rion a little Nooooo! I should be leader!!!! Sue sighs. There can be no leader without something to lead... plans would be in order. This poses much peril ahead to endager the like of those which we seek. Are you people DEAF?!! [Sue] Okay, the fighting over who's going to lead makes me pretty sure we shouldn't HAVE a leader right now. >_< * Mitsuo finishes off his food, looking like he only ate a little bit of it. ^^; Got that? Aldrea, Rion? * Rion points west. * ..Anyhow, we're gonna go thattaway. * Syri sticks his nose out of the pack. "KWUUUU!" >_< * Erellisae blinks at Mitsuo, seemingly baffled at the idea of not having a leader. "Well, yeah! I mean, someone's gotta lead!" Well. As far as I can tell. The first thing to do, it to escort you to the conference. Right. * Syri sticks his head back in, trying to get sleep. * Feray grins and snags a piece of food off Mitsuo's plate with her fork, chewing it hungrily. Well...I mean...It's not like the rest of us are sheep... ^^ [Sue] You may be right, Dylan. But we do have to look for clues too. We have to find out where Justin and Feena were and where they may have gone, and why. I was thinking of following the path they were meant to be taking, asking around, etc. That way we should at least be able to check if they made it to the coast. [Sue] So, last I heard, they were in Talachia. That means they crossed the Narrow Sea, meaning they took a boat from the west coast of Messina...now, from what I heard, I think they decided to explore the northern peninsula rather than sail from Ardycee... * Erellisae hugs Dill, looking thoughtful while listening to Sue. ^^ [Sue] So if you want to follow them, you'll want to head north and west. * Mitsuo nods slowly, "Best if we follow their trail..." * Dill flaps quietly, subdued by the serious atmosphere Sue waits to hear opinions. I should be the leader! Well.. I think that if we know where they vanished, we should boot it right to there, and then start askin' questions. * Dylan twitches slightly [Sue] Means we've gotta cross the Shanden Mountains. Probably want to use the pass and resupply in the mountain village of Eiken... That'd probably save us time, and spare us alot of useless info. Wow...Miss Aldrea...are you a broken record? ^_- [Sue] Yup, guess you're right! [Puffy] Puuuffffff... *Sleepily, from Sue's shoulder* * Erellisae nods. "Should we follow their exact route, though, or just head to where they were last seen?" Sue gives Aldrea a sidelong glance... * Feray utters a low laugh. ^^; * Aldrea pretends not to see any of this. * Jalanda manages a few forkfulls of her breakfast, speaking quietly. "To find the light, first follow the shadow..." [Sue] Erellisae, I'd say follow their route. They may have spoken to people about their plans; we might find out where they were planning on heading. I assume their route was reasonably direct? [Sue] As direct as you can get in the northwest region. It's pretty isolated up there, what with the moutains boxing it in...place is filled with jungle, swamp, mountains, and all kinds of tough territory. Perfect for attracting Justin and Feena. *laughs* * Erellisae nods, looking a little starry eyed. ^^; "Following in their footsteps..." Sue rolls her eyes... * Dylan ruffles Erel's hair Uh uh.. you'll never be great that way. Doin' things others have done before. You gotta strike out on your own. You gotta eclipse the past. That's how you get to be #1, Erel. That's why I'm gonna be #1. "I am prepared whenever everyone else is, miss Sue." I'd hope so. Perhaps we should grab a couple of things from the store first, it might be a long trip Yes sir, Rion sir. ^_- * Dylan stands up and beckons Dill to him Sue yawns, fumbling in her belt pouch for the funds Leen gave her for the trip Let's go before my horns go frayed from age * Erellisae looks chastened at Rion's comment, thinking, before nodding and standing up. Sue pays for her breakfast and for the others' food and lodging, then heads out to the town square and toward the shop. * Feray tightens the braid of her hair before sliding past Mitsuo to head outside. "Start singing and I'll have to silence you." ;) * Jalanda neatly finishes up her meal, and arises carefully, smoothing out her magenta robe. Her bag is already in her hand, where it wasn't a second ago. Shoppiiiiiiiing!! [Sue] Yes? * Erellisae hefts the things in her arms, sweatdropping. "U-um... can you pay for this...?" ^^; * Mitsuo grabs a leather armor and a pair of sneakers, and goes to sell his leather vest and walking shoes. ^^ * Dylan rummages through the store, looking vaguely distracted Sue smiles at Erellisae. Here, hand them to me and I'll put them with everyone's purchases to ring up when we're done. * Mitsuo blinks and also grabs a pair of leather gloves, selling the light gloves as well. ^^ * Jalanda attends to her needs, preparing herself for the trip ahead with a Leather Vest & Gloves, as well as a Hairpin and a pair of Sneakers. "I hope this is not imposing upon the University's genorosity too heavily." She requests a revive of the clerk as well. Hmm... I'll take the leather armor, emerald pin, speed charm and work boots... I need to sell my vest, cap and sneakers.. ^^ * Erellisae nodsnods, before selling her old equiment. ^^ Bronze Dagger, Small Bow, Leather Armor, Enameled Hairpin, Leather Gloves, Work Boots, Wound Salve, Revive Potion . . . can I afford all of this? It's a pity customs don't like weapons on the ferry, I had this lovely baton in New Parm.. * Dylan hrmms * Feray rubs her nose and waits. ^^ * Mitsuo buys a couple of herbs and one antidote, and feels moderately comfy with his purchases. * Erellisae then picks up two Wound Salves, pocketing them as she hands the shopkeeper most of her gold. ;_; She sniffles a little, walking towards the door and Feray, poking around her money bag with a forlorn look. * Feray blinks slightly and reaches out to tap Erel's shoulder. "What's wrong there, Erel?" I spent about all my money... ;_; I hope we find some more... I'm sure we will. ^^; No doubt we'll get some monsters on this trip...and find some hidden treasures. Don't worry. ^^ * Feray smiles warmly. ^^ * Erellisae looks a little worried, touching her side where she got a goodly bite taken out of her yesterday... before cheering, smiling at Feray. "Do I need to have a cheery talk to you too?" ;) * Dylan eventually gets a pile of leather, a heavy club sticking out and small-looking brooch glinting on top in the shape of a cobra Buck up, people. [Sue] I'll provide you with armor and a weapon. * Mitsuo smiles, "Oh no...not worried about it...Just stating. ^_^" * Rion grins. * I mean.. if there was no chance of gettin' cash out of this deal, there's no way I'd be doin' this. ^^; * Feray chuckles and equips her new purchases, waiting for the others to finish. ^^ Nice to know how much you care, Rion. ^_- * Dylan pawns off his older armour and club, for a couple of vials. Well.. I gotta keep my crew's morale up, y'know. ^^ Better add that antidote! * Erellisae bites her lip a little, glancing at the walking stick she just sold. .oO( My parents are gonna kill meee... ) 19, 20, 21 . . . that's all I have left?!!! * Feray brushes some of her hair from her eyes and adjusts the sword on her back, resting it between her shoulderblades.... There will be another opportunity for rest in the mountains, in Eiken, I would think. * Aldrea yawns again, louder and with exaggerated arm movements. "Ok . . " * Feray stretches, muscles flexing noticably and giving away her true strength briefly. She then relaxes and the moment is gone. ^^ (Show off . . . ) * Erellisae blinks at Jalanda. "I never heard of it... how fair away is it?" She blinks at the mountains in the distance, sweatdropping slightly. "Uh... and how high?" ^^; * Mitsuo hmms, "Hope the elevation of the mountains aren't too high..." I love mountains. ^^ The smell of the crisp air...the view! It's amazing. Truly. Hmm. Maybe there'll be a nice ice water pool. I haven't had a good swim in years I... am not sure... Sue mentioned it as our waypoint through the mountain passes. I'm certain the Spirits shall guide us there safely. * Erellisae seems to instantly forget her worry, blinking at Feray in some mixture of excitement and curiosity. "Really? How far can you see?" * Jalanda makes a slight, reserved smile to Erel. Sue comes away from the counter, grumbling irritably about the low prices for the things she sold. [Sue] Well, I'm done. Ready guys? Real far, Erel. ^^ Everything looks small and tiny, too. I'm ready to go. ^_^ * Feray nods slightly to Sue. ^^ Ready! * Erellisae nods. "Yup!" ^_^ * Rion picks up his belongings, and strides confidently to the door. * Let's mosey, people. * Mitsuo nods and follows Rion * Feray watches Rion head out first and looks amused, following him. We'll want to walk west out of town and head for the Eiken pass. *Shouldering her pack, she strides out of the shop and off toward the edge of town.* * Erellisae zips out after Rion, running alternatively forward then back to the group as they head toward the gates. ^^ * Jalanda is quick to follow everyone as they depart. ^^ * Dylan follows jogging slightly * Aldrea skips along after, feeling happy all of the sudden. Puffy flaps over to Erellisae and lands on her shoulder sleepily. * Dill lands on Erel's other shoulder and hangs on to her cloak * Mitsuo whistles softly, walking along. ^^ * Feray moves quickly and quietly, used to being efficient. ^^ * Erellisae giggles at the two puffys making matching shoulder pads. ^_^ Puffy puffs happily at Dill, and the two carry on a quiet conversation on Erellisae's shoulders. * Mitsuo looks back at Erel and chuckles. ^^ How CUTE . . . Sue snickers. [Sue] Puffy, you lazybutt. Don't ride on Erellisae the whole way! * Rion keeps an eye open for curious sparkles or suspicious areas as they travel along.. * [Puffy] Puufff PUFF! *Flutters happily at Aldrea* Heh, Dill's always like that. "I LOVE this!" * Rion flips the glistening coin with his thumb, catching it, and tucking it away in his pocket.. * * Jalanda casts a glance to the Puffies, as if she picks up a slight bit of the emotions they are throwing back and forth with a nod. * Dylan slows down slightly so he's walking behind the party and starts to sketch the group, bouncing happily along the road * Erellisae looks around slowly, before dropping back a little to be closer to the main group, in case monsters come along... ^^; * Dylan cocks his head to one side for a moment Sue? * Mitsuo keeps an eye and ear out in case monsters decide to show up again. * Feray is silent, her silver gaze carefully looking about... Erellisae... you have not seen the view from the mountains before? * Aldrea glances around nervously. The thought of monsters and no STRONG men around . . . * Erellisae shakes her head. "Nuh-uh. Upon a peak high enough, you would have a view of the entire world at your fingertips... such beauty of nature and the spirits puts many things in perspective. * Feray glances amusedly at Jalanda. ^^ Sue smiles. * Erellisae listens, interestedly, but without the words quite sinking in. ^^; That reminds me, once this job is done, I need to investigate getting to the top of the great wall, End of the World. Why? The view has got to be fantastic. * Aldrea cocks her head to one side quizically. "Sure . . . " Up ahead there seems to be a curious depression in the ground, a discoloring of the soil. The elevation is higher now, and beyond the discoloring they can see the distant peaks of the mountiains, growing closer... Plus it would make a excellent map. Mmm....wow. If I didn't have to get back home to my mom, I'd probably join you, Dylan. ^^ Lookie!! Lookie!! * Jalanda pauses her rhetoric to regard the discolored ground. * Mitsuo looks at the discoloring, blinking, "...Is that normal?" * Dylan peers worriedly * Feray furrows her brow at the soil.. Yes . . . let's just move one . . . Some dumb cat doesn't wanna mess with the #4 ranked adventurer... * Mitsuo looks back to Erel and gives her a reassuring look, "Don't worry, Erel. Gotta stick together, right?" Ahead is another discolored spot where animals slept in the vegetation. In the middle is a small pile of something, glinting gold and bright colored cloth... * Feray blinks and drops to a crouch, picking the item up.. * Mitsuo looks around once, then carefully inspects the cloth. GRAAAAAAAHHH!!!! * Erellisae eeps, cowering a little from all these roaring angry people! ;_; * MountainCat looks dazed and confused, but darts away from Dylan before he figures out what happened. Rion is poisoned! * Jalanda parries the hail of thorns, as several vanish into nothing upon contact with her mystical barrier. * Mitsuo manages to dodge a thorn that passes dangerously near his side! * Feray rips some thorns from her shoulder and tosses them at the ground, her gaze turning to centipede 1... * Rion feels some of the wind taken out of his sails.. * Ugh... * Dylan doesn't even blink as thorns bounce off his thick hide >> Cat 1's action! >> Berserk has worn off! * Aldrea is beginning to get sick with worry. Cat 1 attacks Erellisae! 6 damage! 6 damage! >> Jalanda's action! * Feray shakes her head and relaxes slightly as the rage filters off, replaced by an ache in her head and gut.. "Mmnh..." RRRRRRROOOOWWRR!! *bite, swat* Water of life, relieve pain and strife... Heal... * Jalanda gestures outward, the motion accompanied by a gentle mist that washes over Mitsuo, who's battle scars begin to mend and fade in it's wake. * Erellisae cries out a little, falling to the floor briefly but managing to continue to concentrate on her spell. >> Jalanda casts Heal. 36 HP restored to Mitsuo! * Mitsuo straightens, his breathing not quite as haggard, "Thank you, Jalanda..." >> Mitsuo's action! Now... Cross...and return to me! * Mitsuo kneels down with his rings held behind his back, then throws them forward. The two rings fly outward in a circle, and intercept each other right upon the target! "I am." * Syri squeaks quietly, jarred from his sleep by the sudden movement of Mitsy (never mind the fighting just seconds before. * Dylan chucks Feray a antidote I apologize.. I was about to warn you a bit sooner... * Feray grabs the antidote and takes it... What doesn't kill us, will only feed our souls. * Mitsuo pulls himself up to his feet, still breathing a touch heavily, "Everyone...okay...?" >> Feray is no longer poisoned. * Syri decides to feed his soul with Mitsy's gloves. Shall we takes turns with healing? Jalanda, Mitsuo, and myself? * Mitsuo nods, "I'll take care of Feray..." * Dylan plucks out a thorn from his chest Eww.. * Feray blinks a little but says nothing, rubbing her shoulder wound... * Rion gets back up, shaking his head to try and clear his slightly blurred vision.. * A-alright.. and once you're done that.. it's back on the road for us.. * Dylan uses it to sketch a symbol on a scrap of paper * Mitsuo turns towards Feray, his left hand balled up into a fist, and glowing blue. Pure waters...restore! * Mitsuo claps his hands, and a thin blue line crawls along the ground towards Feray. The line curls up and around, then dissipates, taking the wounds with it. *chew* * Feray closes her eyes and lets the magic soothe her before reopening them andoffering Mitsuo a genuine smile of thanks. * Erellisae looks worriedly at Rion. "Rion, are you okay...?" * Rion manages one of his now trademark grins, though you're uncertain of the truth to his words. * Yep. Just peachy.. ^^; * Feray eyes Rion. "I saw you get hit by them too. Restores 26 HP to Erellisae! * Feray staggers a bit before dropping down into a sitting position, resting her chin on one of her knees and gazing at the grass thoughtfully while waiting for the group to be ready. * Erellisae closes her eyes and sighs happily as the pain leaves her body. ^^ * Mitsuo then REALLY flops down hard on his bottom, "...I...*pant* gotta stop *pant* now..." >> Mitsuo casts Heal. She gives him a momentary caring gesture, before laying her bleu glowing hands upon the thorny wound in his side. Heh, that tickles.. I wasn't going to leave without getting healed, it's just incase we get ambushed during this Mitsuo..! Are you okay..? * Feray murmurs. "We should probably make camp...does that sound okay?" * Mitsuo blinks, and puts on a brave face, "I'm fine *pant* just need to sit for a moment..." * Feray glances at Mitsuo before rubbing her face again, some of her cheeriness gone. >> Jalanda heals Dylan. Nice to see some of us have the brains to avoid attacks... * Jalanda folds her hands back into her robes once Dylan's in good shape. "There is no need to be harsh on yourself..." * Jalanda looks ahead. "Shall we continue..?" * Erellisae nods, and turns a little ahead of the group. "Let's go." ^^ Yes...*pant* Let's go... Well, I'm feeling fit and good to go.. * Mitsuo stands up. * Feray pauses for a moment.. Do you want me to carry your pack, Mitsuo? * Feray pushes herself up and straightens her shoulders. "Okay. Good lad. * Dylan starts off down the path. * Rion resumes the trek. * Onwards and upwards, n'all that. * Feray starts off again, quieter now. * Mitsuo follows along, keeping quiet. * Dylan starts to hum a tune * Dill yawns puffyily * Erellisae walks along, looking confident. ^^ Puuu.. fff.. Learned the spell Scry! * Mitsuo follows quietly, still breathing a touch harshly, but better than he was, if you noticed. ^^ Sue yawns. [Sue] Only mid-afternoon, but I sure could use a break. Luckily there's a town just up ahead. Really tiny...the town of Eiken. Sure enough, they see a few lopsided buildings ahead. Almost no one seems to be in the streets, though here and there a couple townsfolk lean against a fence and gossip, with a cow rather lazily chewing its cud just outside the gate. * Dylan looks at the party [Sue] What say we find an inn? That'd be a good idea... * Erellisae nods, peering around the town. ^_^ Yes...*pant* please... Who wants a nice cold one? So this is Eiken... Sue makes her way to the nearest in, a ramshackle little place but one that seems clean enough. She pays for their rooms while the others look around. [Sue] You can go on up, guys. Or sit down in the common room for a bit. Tempting but I think I'll go catch a rest.. Me...me too... * Erellisae doesn't do either, instead dropping her pack and running out the door to peer around town. ^_^ * Dylan plunks himself down in the common room, and send off Dill to look after Erel Gah.... my throat hurts... that's odd. I don't remember yelling recently.. * Rion drops down near Dylan, nothing much to do. * * Mitsuo slugs his way upstairs, and flops down on a bed, falling into a dead sleep almost instantly. There isn't much for Erellisae to see, though admittedly the view is spectacular. Mountain peaks loom around them; they are quite a ways up the mountains, but as it is summer, only the very tips are white. Down below spread green plains and forests. The town itself is rather brown and drab, however. And quiet. * Dylan buys much beer. * Feray pauses to wave at her companions before heading up after Mitsuo and into her own room, sliding into the bed and clutching a hand against her forehead as she tries to sleep. * Jalanda admires the view near Erel, a look of peace on her face. * Erellisae looks out over the view, sighing peacefully. ^_^ "It's beautiful." Sue takes their bags upstairs and goes to freshen up in her room, planning on joining them downstairs at dinnertime for a good meal. * Dylan buys some beer, then trys to find somewhere to sit outside, stump, rock, that type of thing. Was it what you were envisioning? ...no... I don't think so. It's... different. ^_^ * Dylan ambles out the bar, BIG sketch book in hand, a jar of water and a case of paints and inks * Rion sighs, and settles even more into a big chair, thoughts meandering to other distant things.. * * Dylan smiles at Jalanda and Erel So, you ladies want to be in a picture? * Erellisae blinks back at Dylan, looking a little embarrassed. "You'd do a picture of us?" * Jalanda looks down at the sea of green from the vantage point, then turns around slowly. "So you are an artist of people as well as lands, mister Dylan?" * Dylan looks like he'd scratch the back of his head if his hands weren't full I'm not so good at it, but I'm trying to improve It's a very difficult skill... I envy those who can create such vivid images. Mine aren't that vivid yet. Maybe one day I'll find the thing that will show me how. * Jalanda bows her head.
