"Bring it, psycho." * Nathan blinks, then realizes that its Cassidy * Mitsuo rubs his eyes, trying to focus. * Nathan slips into an attack posture * Jalanda stands resolute before the advancing Icarian paladin, knowing full well the time of reckoning is here for many things... with a silent motion she begins weaving several magical wards. You know, you *could* give up now. No need for me to bust your face in then.. * Erellisae steps back to stand beside Feray, working on drawing out her power as she continues to glare at Jiandir. "I've had it... you won't be able to try to use me anymore..." Jiandir brings his sword up and adopts a fighting stance. "The Spirits shall judge who is in the right and who has profaned the name of the Icarians. Let your weapons do the talking, if you wish to convince me!" * Dylan sighs Can't we just take our butterfly and leave? Figures with you. You seem bloodthirsty enough. ...? * Mitsuo looks to Dylan. O_o * Feray glances at Erel from the corner of her eye and loses her composure complete as Dylan uses the word butterfly. "Agh, Dylan!" >> Jiandir appears; begin battle! Jiandir, Jiandir's Sword Arm, and Jiandir's Holy Guantlet prepare to fight! Jiandir blinks, confused, then shrugs. "Your words show your lack of respect. En guarde, heathens!" * Mikari cooly watches the battlefield as she enters her stance and draws her dagger. She smirks slightly... giving the battle her seal of approval. * Erellisae giggles slightly, then shakes her head, biting her lip and letting the power flow around her wrists again, grinning with a glint in her eye. "Weapons? Who needs /weapons/?" The only weapon that shall be brought to bear is the arms of the light you yet scorn. Let it begin... * Feray shakes her head and coughs softly before twirling her spear lazily in an arc around her body, careful not to poke Erel's eye out or something. Heh. What Jalanda said. Except that light's gonna be the lights flashin' 'fore your eyes, and the arms gonna be mine, as I breaks yer face. * Dylan kicks a stone into the air, and backhands it, shattering it into many pieces. >> Jiandir swings his sword, preparing to attack! Prepares a special move aimed at Jalanda! >> Jiandir raises his left hand in a fist; a holy crystal embedded in his gauntlet begins to glow. Prepares to cast a spell! ... >> Mikari's declaration. * Mitsuo bites his lip, starting to look nervous. * Erellisae's glare intensifies, the corona of magic trailing up the dagger and gathering at its point... * Feray glances at Erel once more and idly spares a thought for the girl's sanity. * Jalanda brings her pale right hand down slowly into a defensive stance, a slight shadow trailing it as she sees the intent of Jiandir's blade. It incites little fear or intimidation from her. * Mikari prepares and aims a dagger technique at... Jiandir's face! >> Jalanda's declaration. Don't let him shake you....focus.. * Erellisae nods imperceptibly, biting her lip slightly and trying to reign in the energy, remain that little bit calm. She doesn't seem to be doing too well. ^^; Hmm. Offense or Defence, my friends? Defense. Defense, we don't know what he's capable of yet * Dylan nods >> Feray's declaration. * Feray slams the butt of her spear into the ground and begins to chant for ¤ Diggin. >> Jiandir begins to chant a spell, aimed at Nathan! ... 2>> Mitsuo's declaration. * Mitsuo balls up one of his hands into a fist, a reddish aura seeping from it. >> Nathan's declaration. * Nathan begins charging his body with energy, despite Jiandir's intent to injure him in the near future (Celerity) >> Dylan's declaration. * Dylan starts to chant an earthy tune >> Erellisae's declaration. * Erellisae braces herself, the corona around her wrists flashing to a bright white then trailing down to a silvery flare. >> Jiandir's sword arm sweeps down in a fury of wind. Charging for Jalanda, he cries, "Divine Judgment!" The sword bites into Jalanda's shoulder; 18 damage! * Mitsuo looks a bit taken aback on how POWERFUL Jiandir is. O_o * Jalanda keeps her hooded eyes rivetted on Jiandir, then brings her hand up near the sword blow, as much of the deadly force seems to taper off into a vague wavery spacial distortion... . o O ( Please...don't let us fail again... ) . o O (Damn!) * Feray utters a soft snarl but keeps chanting.. * Jalanda goes to a knee for only a moment, then is full on her feet again. "Your faith is so powerful, but so misplaced." Jiandir resumes his stance, his eyes firey. "If you surrender, you may yet find forgiveness." * Dylan frowns in worry as Jiandir calmly cleaves through Jal's guard * Mikari raises an eyebrow with some concern, but resumes her concentration after a moment of studying the opponent. There is a sound from off to one side, a low drone coming from the air... ..? * Erellisae snarls, the corona flaring white again then dying again to silver. "Forgiveness?! While you /KILL/ someone who's done nothing wrong...?!" Jiandir shakes his head. "If you defeat me, it will be proof that I wrongly accused him." * Mikari smirks. "You pissed off the li'l mage, Jand... now you're gonna get it." . o O ( ...That makes no sense...but...uh...not gonna correct him. ^^; ) ... * Cassidy leaps out of a large vessel as it thunders overhead, darkening the earth, if only for a moment. A sharp gust of wind buffets the field of battle! In a moment, the large ship is little more than a speck in the sky.. * Much obliged! * Cassidy drops out of the sky! A cloud of dust is kicked up as she lands, reducing her form to little more than a silhouette. The shadowy outline of the girl stands, and as the dust clears her cold, violet-eyed gaze falls upon the leader of the Icarian army. * Ack! * Erellisae growls lightly in her throat. "Fine by me..." * Nathan blinks at Cassidy's arrival Belief in a omniscient being, Jiandir? The Spirits teach us differently... * Cassidy draws out a dagger, pointing it at Jiandir. * We meet again. * Feray coughs as dust gets up her nose. She then nods in amusement at Cass before turning to her chant.. Jiandir's eyes flash as he meets Cassidy's gaze. "Come to aid the blasphemers?" Whoah. Good'ta see ya, Cassy. ^_~ Cassidy... You don't know your place, Jiandir. It is you who blaspheme. I knew I could trust you Ms. Cassidy. Here on orders? Or friendship? * Cassidy twirls the knife once, reversing her grip, and charges. * * Jalanda nods respectfully to Cassidy as she makes her timely appearance. Jiandir balls his left hand into a fist, the crystal in his guantlet glowing. "The Spirits shall judge this battle!" * Cassidy's small blade begins to shimmer, as she readies Dazzling Blade! * Little bit of both, Dylan. That's alright then, 'd hate to inconvience you.. >> Jiandir finishes chanting his spell and unleashes it! Flames erupt from the air, surrounding Nathan. Jiandir shouts "Judgment by fire...BURN!" 45 damage! * Nathan winces, but refuses to cry out! * Feray narrows her eyes. * Mikari squints, having missed her chance to interrupt the spell. "Holy winds aid me - RUNNER!" Winds whip Jiandir's cloak, and his MOV is increased by +1 level! * Mikari jumps backward as she finishes the technique, landing on one knee, and spitting on the ground as she gets up. "Serves ya right, fanatic..." . o O ( That gauntlet...we need to get rid of that gauntlet... ) >> Dylan's action! * Dylan grabs a handful of dust and throws it into the air! Flesh and Bone! Catch me if you can! * Nathan is surrounded by a brief green aura, and a shadowy, monstrous figure seems to appear behind him for a moment, then its gone with a soft rasping sound. Can we just get along? ^^;; >> Cassidy's action! * Cassidy runs forward, leaping up and vaulting off of Jiandir's shoulder! Twisting around midair, she descends. As her brilliantly glowing weapon crashes against the steel of the staunch man's armor, it flares brightly, a literal explosion of light! Dazzling Blade! * >> Cassidy executes Dazzling Blade on Jiandir...29 damage! >> Mitsuo's action! * Mikari whistles through her teeth at Cass and gives a grin of approval. Embers awake! Ignite and enlight! * Mitsuo points straight upward, and a dull red aura begins to pulse around him. It lingers for some time, then fades away in a burst of heat. Jiandir winces and bares his teeth angrily at Cassidy. >> Mitsuo casts Focus on himself. Mitsuo gains +1 MAG level! * Mitsuo opens his eyes, still looking beyond exhausted, but a least a little more aware, "...." * Cassidy stares defiantly back. * You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into. >> Erellisae's action! * Erellisae concentrates, her palms glowing as a breeze starts to pick up around her. As she suddenly whirls around, the wind whips around her to form a tornado, and with a cry of "Go /away/!" she has sliced at the air, sending the tornado rocketing forward to buffet against Jiandir. >> Erellisae casts Go 'Way! Jiandir is hit full force by a blast of wind, flying backward and hitting the side of a building, dazing him! Jiandir mutters under his breath, shaking his head to clear it. >> Jalanda's declaration. * Jalanda lifts her pale right hand from the robes that hide it, as it begins to gather an azure magical aura. "O, Spirits of the Sea..." * Feray nods sharply. * Erellisae smiles a little grimly, her tattoos immediately flaring up as she concentrates anew. >> Jiandir's sword arm sweeps up as he levers himself to his feet. He growls low and points it at Nathan, preparing to attack... ... Hey! Why don't you pick on someone a little more dangerous, huh? * Mitsuo narrows his eyes, angry, "Don't you dare..." * Feray waggles her spear at Jiandir and smirks. "Cause he might be strong but I'm going to punch you so full of holes you'll be able to breathe when I've got my foot in your face." >> Jalanda's action! Water of life, relieve pain and strife... Heal... * Jalanda gestures outward, the motion accompanied by a gentle mist that washes over Nathan, their light wounds beginning to mend and fade in its wake. * Erellisae glares from behind Feray. "And when she's done it becomes /my/ turn." Jiandir glares at Feray. "Silence, wench!" * Feray raises both eyebrows. Watch your tongue zealot! Or I'll rip it out of your bloated head! * Feray mutters in amusement. "At least he didn't call me a tart. Ooh. My heart, it aches from the sheer wittiness of his insults." >> Jalanda casts Heal. Nathan regains 70 HP! * Nathan nods in thanks to Jalanda * Mikari glares daggers at Jiandir for that wench comment. Not that she isn't already using them, but... For a priest, you really are sort of a rude guy, aren't you? * Mitsuo smirks a little. *still glaring* Try "pig." * Jalanda parts her lips a moment in a simple smile that speaks for itself on the surface to Nathan. Jiandir spits on the ground. "I have no need to defend myself against taunts thrown at me by the likes of you!" >> Mikari's declaration. * Mikari decides to go the "here goes nothing" path, leaning forward into a thief-ish run to Jiandir's behind in order to fill his spine full of sharp steel... >> Jiandir raises his guantlet as the crystal begins to glow again, preparing another spell. >> Jiandir's sword comes down as he charges at Nathan in a combo attack! 2 damage...3 damage! Jiandir curses as the multiple Diggin' spells cushion most of the blow. * Feray bursts out laughing. * Nathan starts laughing quietly * Mitsuo, however, does not laugh. * Mikari halts in her tracks. Hoo. Ahem. Right. Damn, girly-boy, that wasn't even worth stoppin'. ^_~ Just goes to show, you should shout when you hit people. Makes it hurt more, [Jiandir] Laugh at your own peril, fools! Ooooh. Stop calling me ma'am! * Dylan laughs >> Feray's declaration. * Erellisae doesn't noticeably react, concentrating as she is. * Feray shakes her head and then drops down, slamming her arms into the earth, burying them to the elbows....rock begins to mold itself to her arms... Eheheh. *Mikari smirks derisively, but quietly returns to sneaking behind Jiandir for a clear shot...* >> Dylan's declaration. Now we're all tucked in, time to test that armour.. * Dylan starts to wind up a punch >> Nathan's declaration. * Nathan stands resolute in front of Jiandir, still laughing, as his left shoulder suddenly bulges and distends (Warform, woot!) * Feray jerks her head up at the odd sound and blinks at Nate's shoulder. Nathan? Was the sword poisoned? >> Cassidy's declaration. Heh, heh, heh, no, it wasn't * Jalanda shakes her head slowly. Care to spoil the suprise? * Cassidy draws back a fair distance, beginning to cast Illusionary Mantle.. * * Mitsuo looks a touch shocked at what he sees. * Feray gazes at Nate for a moment before tearing her eyes away, going back to concentrating.. Heh, heh, heh, you'll see soon enough Will it be flashy? ^^ Heh, in a way I guess So long as it dishes out a lot of pain...I think I'm sold. ^^ >> Erellisae's declaration. * Erellisae stumbles out of her concentration, blinking at Mitsuo. "... when'd you become me?" o_O * Erellisae shakes her head slightly with a giggle, then turns back to Jiandir, her hands flashing white again, before the aura settles to a pale silver, the magic literally flowing from palm to palm. Uh...^^; Um, er...It's just...He's attacking us! And he's not going to stop...and...I'm tired ;_; >> Jiandir prepares to cast a spell on Feray, chanting under his breath. Chin up, Mitsuo! This'll be over soon enough! * Feray lifts her gaze to Jiandir as she chants, flashing him a wonderfully seductive grin. ^^; I sure hope so, Cass! >> Mikari's action! * Erellisae looks back at Mitsuo, her grim glare breaking into a faint smile momentarily. "Don't worry. We'll all protect you. He's not gonna do anything more." See the test through till the end... the right and the wrong must be decided this day. * Mikari has somehow disappeared from sight, her location unknown... this is remedied, however, as three projectiles shoot out of the air, hitting Jiandir in his other shoulder, this time from the rear!! >> Mikari critical attacks Jiandir, aiming for his guantlet and dealing 10 damage! Action is canceled! * Mitsuo nods a little to Erel, but doesn't say anything for now. He still looks unsure. * Nathan continues to laugh as more and more of his body swells and distorts, his pupils dialating to the point where there is nothing else in his eyes * Mikari jumps to Jiandir's left, having knocked him temporarily to his knees, and taunts him. "C'mon, Jandy, get up'n take a shot. y'know you wanna. Ya gonna get beaten by us li'l girls?" ^_~ >> Jalanda's declaration. * Mitsuo glances at Nathan once again, but forces himself to turn away. Ms. Mikari, I'd almost take offence at that.. . o O ( Don't be a hypocrite. ) Jiandir growls and attempts to backhand Mikari, missing as she nimbly skips out of the way. * Mikari is distracted from her taunting by the sight of Nathan mutating in the background. O_o; * Jalanda shifts her stance at that, drawing her left hand back a bit, the near-black deep purple robe following the motion. "Come, icy winds..." *turning back to Dylan* ...I meant Erel'n the others. S'pose gettin' hit by you is a li'l bit more honorable, in his kinda mind. Feh. >> Jiandir manages to shake himself and regain his footing, bringing his sword up for another attack. He aims at Mitsuo, snarling as he prepares a special move! Perhaps I should just stand back and let you deal with it? * Mitsuo pales a little, noticing he's next in line to get skewered. >> Cassidy's action! * Cassidy snaps her right arm out straight as her spell finishes, a mirriory cloak drifting into being behind her, settling on her shoulders.. Though she can still be seen, he exact location is not entirely clear.. * >> Cassidy casts Illusionary Mantle, obscuring herself from Jiandir's sight and making her difficult to hit, should he attack! >> Dylan's action! Nahhh, everybody should get a shot at 'is guy... *looks over at Jiandir, who now has his sights set on Mitsuo, and frowns slightly as she realizes she won't get a shot in to protect him.* * Erellisae shifts in front of Mitsuo slightly, shaking her head at Jiandir. "Oh, no. Not again. I promised." * Dylan stamps the ground a few times before rushing Jiandir! A swift kick and axe slash bats the sword and gauntlet to one side! Nose be wide! * Dylan slams his fist into Jiandir's face, hoping to ruin his features! >> Dylan executes Uppercut on Jiandir. 43 damage; Jiandir's spell is canceled! * Dylan unhooks his axe from the sword and rolls back before he is poked fulla holes! >> Feray's action! * Mikari nods in approval at Dylan. "Thanks, there. I can't stop 'im every time, not with seven others for 'im to aim at..." * Feray rips her arms free from the ground, her hands a warped visage of sharp rock talons. She waggles one at Jiandir with mock playfulness. "Baby, I'll rock your world." * Feray winks and drives her arms back into the ground. A gaping pit suddenly rips open underneath Jiandir's gauntlet'd arm and a giant earthen golem arm reaches up to snag the gauntlet, pulling Jiandir halfway into the pit. It closes around his arm with a thunderous roar! ¤ Pitfall! >> Feray executes Pitfall! Jiandir screams as his guantlet is snagged painfully, practically pulling his arm out of its socket. 76 damage! * Feray tugs her arms free from the earth, the rock sheathes falling to pieces to reveal her real hands.. O_o Can you teach me that? >> Jalanda's action! * Feray grabs her spear and casts Mitsuo a small grin. "Lupris line secret." * Jalanda raises her eyebrow at the display, but it quickly is dismissed as her magic sets to work... Doh. ^^; Those that seek pain, be bound by aster chains... Freeze! * Jalanda gestures towards the enemy formation, as a northeasterly wind picks up, bringing with it a penetrating cold that chills to the bone. A thick frost begins to form upon their bodies, as one by one their attacks slow to a crawl... * Erellisae blinks, and grins slightly, looking across. "Can you teach /me/ that?" ^_~ >> Jalanda casts Freeze! Jiandir suffers -1 MOV level! * Feray looks amusedly at Erel. "Only if you're good and eat your vegetables." >> Mikari's declaration. "Alright 'en... brace yerself..." * Feray nods sharply. * Mikari prepares to cast a Fire spell, leaning down with two fingers together as her eyes and hands glows deep red! >> Nathan's action! * Nathan gives a mighty howl, then his body bursts open completely, revealing a monstrous man-crab hybrid creature! The creature gives a Lavos-like screech, snapping is powerful claws, and surveys the scene before it with malevolent intent, settling his gaze on Jiandir, and launches himself into battle! Whoa! O_o * Feray stares. N-nathan...! o_O; * Cassidy gives pause for a moment.. * DIE! * Mikari blinks, wide-eyes, and falls backward momentarily as Nathan goes warform... O_o;; ...she almost loses her footing, but regains it before her concentration is lost! ... barely. * Jalanda bows her head to the merman as he metamorphs into the fury of nature itself. It is a respectful awe. >> Nathan executes Standing Claws; attains Warform state! * Feray shakes herself a little noticeably and whistles softly. ...nice. * Mikari calls out while she gathers her energy. "DAMN, Nathan, don't ever do that without warnin'..." >> Mitsuo's declaration. * Mitsuo closes his eyes, extending his arms straight out before him. He balls both hands into a fist, a silverish aura seeping from them, the whispy trails floating and dissapearing in the morning breeze. >> Jiandir brings his sword around, lashing out at Mitsuo! "I call upon the heavens to judge thee. Divine Judgment!" 47 damage! * Mitsuo screams, the sharp end of the blade nearly impaling him! ... >> Erellisae's action! Mitsuo! * Nathan screams with renewed rage at Jinadir! * Erellisae snarls at Jiandir, glaring deeply at him. Uhnnn...I...I'm all right... * Erellisae draws back her hands, her eyes still closed, her voice dangerously level. "I told you not touch him..." She flings forward the silvery ball of magic in Jiandir's direction. As it reaches him, it explodes outward, furious winds slashing against him. * Mikari blinks and shouts out at Mitsuo amidst her concentration. "Mitsuo...! dammit... someone help 'im out!" * Mitsuo stumbles to his feet, his hands still glowing a faint silver, although one of his hands is being covered slowly in sticky, red blood. >> Erellisae casts Howlslash on Jiandir. 73 damage! Jiandir screams in pain, flying backward! It would seem the answer is clearer... * Mikari grits her teeth, noting that magic, while sometimes more powerful than other skills, keeps her quite detained at times... * Feray murmurs. "Heal him, someone." >> Mitsuo's action! I'm on it, unless someone beats me there! Tempest! I summon you! * Mitsuo hurls his rings at the enemy, and they begin to circle around them, faster and faster. The spinning rings kick up a powerfull squall amidst the enemy, buffeting them and hurling stones and debris into their bodies! * Erellisae opens her eyes slowly, the magic around her wrists flecked with bright white coronas of light. She looks highly pissed off, to put it mildly. * Jalanda shifts her hand in a twisting motion that you identify as a healing spell. "All too clear." >> Mitsuo casts Howlslash on Jiandir. 69 damage! Jiandir, attempting get up, is immediately knocked down again, blood pooling around him... Stop this, Jiandir! No more blood needs to be shed! Can't you see the answer now?! >> Jiandir bares his teeth in defiance, coughing up a bit of blood as he raises his guantlet and makes a fist, preparing to cast a spell. Give up, Jiandir! *We* do not wish to be murderers! * Mikari snorts in disdain, hoping he'll submit without having to kill him, as that would be more of an annoyance than a victory. >> Cassidy's declaration. 'Sides, we gotta collect on your promise of leavin' Mits alone. *glares at him* * Cassidy begins another incantation, quite arcane in nature.. the beginnings of Tremor, in fact.. * >> Dylan's declaration. * Mitsuo pales a bit further, trying to stop the bloodflow, "...This really sucks." * Dylan dashes next to Mitsuo and fishes out his waterskin.. You'll be alright.. * Mitsuo blinks, and smiles at Dylan, "Thanks..." Sip this, and give me a moment.. * Mitsuo takes the waterskin, and uh...sips it. ^^; * Erellisae regards Mitsuo's wounds quietly, the flecks of white in her magical corona becoming more rapid. >> Jiandir raises his hand, and the crystal in his guantlet glows blue. "Heal," He whispers, licking his lips. He regains 30 HP and manages to stand... * Feray snorts softly. >> Jalanda's declaration. * Mikari glances off to the side in Mitsuo's direction between her glare-tossing at Jiandir. The blind cannot decide their fate, but be pulled along in the flow of greater things... * Jalanda pulls out a strange deck from the folds of her garments with her left hand, fingering one of the arcane cards... Jiandir shakes his head. "The battle is not yet over! I still have hope that I may retain my honor." Oh jeez, shut up and die already, you weird freak. >> Feray's declaration. * Feray twirls her spear around her body and gets ready to stab Jiandir :D The hardest lessons are the most painful to learn, but it does not have to be this way. The earth trembles and gives way as a giant rocky spike erupts underneath Jiandir! Finally he looks up at the group, nodding shakily. "I concede defeat. Deal your final blow, so I may die with what honor I have left. Nate is restored to his human shape, looking healed and whole. * Feray nods slightly to Mikari and lightly strokes Erel's hair, trying to calm her.. * Cassidy glances back from the now subdued Feray to where Jiandir lay. * Now we gotta get t'business. Ms. Jalanda.. can we save him? * Feray turns a little to eye the scene, passing Nate over with a slight cool nod. * Nathan nods slightly to Mikari, watching Jiandir Jiandir looks at Mitsuo, his expression slowly softening. He whispers, "Perhaps you truly are chosen by the Spirits, young one..." He nods. "It shall be as you say. No more will we try to impose our will on the Icarians. Great water of life, wash away pain and strife... Healer... * Erellisae nods, squeezing Feray back a little, before stepping out from behind her. "We'll find Feray. We'll make sure she's alright. And if Gaia's really on it's way back..." * Jalanda gestures outward, the motion accompanied by a wave of mist that washes over Jiandir, their serious wounds beginning to mend and fade in its wake. * Mitsuo smiles, "Thank you so much." * Nathan doesn't meet Feray's gaze * Mikari turns back to Jiandir. "Not t'mention you're way too quick t'judge. s'not like Mitsuo ASKED for those wings, or even knows how they got there..." * Erellisae grins, looking more like her normal self. "... The worst of Jiandir's many wounds are healed, though it seems it will be quite some time before he is fully recovered... * Feray snorts softly and wraps an arm around her waist, feeling her body tremble.. Arise and meditate on these words -- such a state is not befitting of your station. Jiandir wipes the last trickle of blood from his mouth and takes in a slow, deep breath. He smiles faintly at Jalanda in thanks, then struggles to his feet. * Cassidy does her best to hold her tongue.. * * Cassidy gazes off eastward.. * Jiandir sheathes his sword and leans on it once it's in the scabbard. If it is indeed Gaia as we fear, then the Icarians may again be the only ones who can stop it. If there is no other choice...please do not abandon humanity. Having trekked back to the village, they spent most of their subsequent time sleeping and resting up....now they must decide what to do next. The village is in good spirits, now that the threat of interference from the Icarian Church has gone. Overall there is a great deal of goodwill to the party, both for defending their village against the army, and finding their long-lost relics... * Jalanda is in the common room this morning, fielding her oft unseen appetite in this valuable interim... ^^ * Erellisae ambles through the village and into the common room, humming to herself happily. She looks much recovered from her bout of psychoticness, and sits at the table. The paper shows a sketch of a ship...a small one, big enough for perhaps their party and a small handful of others, but elegant and harder, a hardy little ship that almost seems to have a soul of its own, for all it's just lines on paper. Huh....so...all we need to do.... Is make this paper into a little boat like that... And maybe we can float Syri across? Hah ^_- * Feray arches an eyebrow and grins slightly. Lily grins. I believe one cannot have everything handed to them, Feray... ^^ She opens the door a crack. Still, it is a fitting vessel for the trip, but it needs a fitting crew.... but it seems fate is being rather generous this day. * Jake saunters in with a slight swivel of his hips, his tall and very lean figure ended up contorted to put most of his weight on one of these hips, arms folded, when he stops. He lifts his deep, dark, downcast eyes to shoot a soft but narrowed glare matched with a perhaps -too- friendly smirk directed at many of the women of the group. * Feray blinks a little. * Jake nods politely to Lily then turns back. * Jake lets his smirk turn to a bit of a grin. He keeps eyeing but before anyone can really determine, the scruffy bangs of his shoulder-length hair the color of pumpkin pie (Mmm. Pie.) falls carelessly in his eyes despite the headband that's supposed to keep them out of there. ...Hello. * Nathan raises an eyebrow, then chuckles Hello, sir. ^^ * Erellisae eyes Jake a little, raising an eyebrow and sweatdropping slightly. "Uh... hi?" ^^; Greetings Hey there. At Jake's side enters a short figure covered with downy gray fur, his large ears standing tall above his head, a gold earring in one of them. Dressed in simple clothes, the Mogay grins and waves. He seems older than Jake, perhaps in his later 30s. * Jalanda puts a pale hand to her chin, studying the mariner carefully. * Jake keeps his arms folded, thumb fingering his leather vest. They've been given a basic idea of the dangers they face on this journey, and I've settled their payment for you already. They'll help with the duties of sailing and navigation. Oh right. Lily tries to hide a smile as the introductions are made. She waves a little to the newcomers. "I'll be back." * Feray ruffles Erel's hair fondly as she heads past.. * Jalanda looks down as her hand is kissed, a little surprised, but she plays into it. "Why yes, it is surprising to see a Mogay such as yourself here... I trust business is treating you well?" * Erellisae touches Feray's hand as her hair is ruffled, watching her leave with a faint expression of worry before shaking her head slightly. :/ * Nathan hammers on the door to Dylan's room. "Hey! Big man! Time to scoot!" Fidelio drops her hand and steps back, smiling. [Fidelio] Yes, but ah, the call of adventure...it is louder than the call of money to a merchant, for me! It is a great tragedy, so say the Elder. *Mock sighs, then turns to Erellisae* Your name is Erellisae, little one? * Jake counts people and tries to see who he hasn't properly greeted. * Erellisae nods. "uh-hn." ^^ * Dylan falls out of the bed he was having a siesta in with a FWOMOP! * Erellisae points up at the ceiling as the noise reverberates. "That's Dylan." ^^ * Nathan chuckles, and tromps back downstairs ^_^ Fidelio kisses Erellisae's hand and grins. "Pleased-a to meet you!" * Mitsuo idly wonders if Fidelio is going to kiss his hand too. ;) * Dylan comes down to meeting room, yawning widely..
