Session Start: Sat Nov 03 22:15:20 2001 ==SESSION START== *** GMAmy changes topic to 'Grandia: New Horizons | Chapter 5.1: Erellisae and Mitsuo Goodness | Location: Jungle Ruins, evening, June 10. | Session Start' *** GMAmy sets mode: +m The jungle is quiet, but for the soft nighttime noises that fill the trees. The ruins themselves are even more silent, standing with the soft eloquence of ages, their only words held close in stone. Inside, the small fire has burned down to embers, and most of the party is asleep... * Erellisae can be seen atop the higher part of the ruins, leaning against a pillar and writing in a small book, occasionally staring up at the sky. The sky is clear and the stars are bright this evening... * Mitsuo is wandering around outside of the ruins, trying to understand some of the strange gylphs and picture...and really not getting anywhere. ^^; The carvings and murals seem to almost tell a story, but there is so much artistic symbolism and unintelligble ancient writing, it is impossible to decipher. * Erellisae makes a sniffling sound, before bringing it to an abrupt stop, seemingly trying to hide it. ...(w) Man...first thing I'm doing when this is over is trying to understand the lan---Crying? * Mitsuo looks up, and adjusts his glasses, "...Erel?" * Erellisae is shaking her head, rubbing her eyes a little with one hand and trying to clean off some drops of moisture on the page she's writing on. "U-um... I'm okay.." ...You sure? * Erellisae looks down, staying silent for a while and staring at the book in her hands, before replying quietly. "...No..." ...Do you want some company? * Mitsuo looks concerned. * Erellisae looks up, wiping some tears out her eyes, before nodding gratefully, and packing away the book into her pack. "Yeah.." * Mitsuo smiles, and sets about trying to climb up to where Erellisae is, speaking as he does so, "What's the problem, exactly? Is it about what happened earlier?" * Erellisae nods, drawing her knees up to her chest and clutching her cloak - or Mitsuo's cloak - around her, biting her lip. "It's just..." * Erellisae shakes her head, forcing back another couple of tears, but saying nothing. * Mitsuo manages to make it up to where Erel is without a klutz incedent, and sits beside her, "...What? Is it about what they said...you having potential?" * Erellisae shakes her head. "Not really... I always had a lot of magic power... it's just... I don't know which way my adventure is..! I mean, they said it was with them, but I stayed with you and Dylan and the group..." Do you really want to go with them though? *makes a face* Personally, I don't trust them at all.... * Erellisae looks down. "I don't know... I just..." Erellisae seems at rather a loss for words. ^^; But honestly, the only one who's really going to discover what way to go is yourself. I can't really tell you which way to go...and neither can they. ^^ That's what free will is all about. I don't even know which way to start, though.. Well...is there anything you really WANT to do? Perhaps that's someplace you can start from... I mean...You got to make your own path in life! ^^ * Erellisae looks down again. "I... I want to keep travelling with everyone, but I... I wanna find out about..." She shakes her head. "They even said I could possibly be High Priestess someday! I-I mean... I can't just pass that up, can I..?" ...Is that something you really want to do, though? * Erellisae remains silent, shaking her head slightly in thought and biting her lip. I mean...We just found out about this group yesterday....and if they wanted you to be a high priestess...then why did they hurt you to talk to you? That makes no sense to me... * Erellisae sweatdrops a little. "Well... they were probably right, I would've probably fireballed them..." ^^; Naaah. ^_- You're too nice for that...I personally would have fireballed 'em. But even so...there's no excuse for them taking you somewhere without your permission. * Erellisae gingerly touches the lump on her head under her mass of hair. "Yeah... but still..." * Erellisae sighs, looking down. "I know I have to figure this out myself... I just don't know what to do..." * Mitsuo sighs, "...I dunno. I'm pretty biased....But the only thing I can tell you...no matter how cliche and stupid this sounds...Is to go with what your heart tells you to do..." * Erellisae nods silently, before looking up, hugging her knees. "Thanks... guess I have a bit of thinking to do..." Sorry I can't be of any more help... * Mitsuo hmms, and thinks, "Although....I was going to look inside a bit...not really far...just see some of the hyroglyphs and what not...If you want to get your mind off it a bit, you're welcome to come. ^^" * Erellisae shakes her head, smiling wanly. "Thanks for the offer, Mits... but I have to be serious about this... just this once." ^^ * Mitsuo nods, "...Okay. I'll see you in the morning, then? :)" * Erellisae nods. "Yeah.. Thanks." She smiles a little, looking slightly more like her old self. ^_^ * Mitsuo grins, and starts climbing down, "Kay then! Good ni---gaah! O_o" * Mitsuo eeps as he sort of slides 1/3rd down the mountainside in true kultz fashion ^^; * Erellisae blinkblinks, then leans over. o_O "Mitsuo! You okay?" * Mitsuo looks a bit dazed, but nods, "...Yeah @_o I'm good..." * Mitsuo shakes his head a few times, and pulls himself up, dusting himself off, "...Didn't realize it was so steep..." * Erellisae sweatdrops. "Be careful, okay..?" ^^; * Erellisae then leans back against the pillar she was resting against, taking out her diary again and starting to write. * Mitsuo nods, "I will...G'night, Erel..." * Mitsuo heads back in the shrine just a little bit, so he can do some research.
