Syri
Played by Ashton
Syri is a creature called a carro. (Actually a type of animal from Grandia 2, not Grandia 1, but who's counting? ^_~ Carros are fun.) Carros are sort of cat/fox/squirrel like creatures that have reddish tinged pale fur, very large ears, big round eyes, and a tail with a red orb that lights up. They usually live in caves and prefer dark places out of sunlight. No one is quite sure how Syri ended up in the middle of the city of Parm, being tormented by a couple of boys in the streets, but Mitsuo rescued and adopted Syri (or maybe Syri adopted him!). Syri is cute but has a major attitude, and he can get irritated when people ignore him. He spends most of his time curled up in Mitsuo's pack, though he comes out to investigate at night and at mealtimes. He also comes in very handy for exploring small or hard-to-reach places.

Lily's always been a pretty matter-of-fact person, rather sensible and practical, but with a great sense of humor. One often gets the sense that her pragmatism only thinly covers an inner mischievousness and a desire to be irresponsible. She doesn't usually indulge in this urge, but at the moment she is going through a mid-life crisis of sorts and has temporarily closed her restaurant and assembled a crew of women in order to start her pirating days again. She hasn't totally lost her responsible nature, of course; the main purpose of this pirating is actually to hunt down and capture the real pirates who have been plaguing the Narrow Sea in recent days. So technically Lily is a privateer, a pirate sponsored by a government, as she has legal permission to do this volunteer law enforcement. But don't bring it up around her; she's having far too much fun reliving her glory days as Lily the Skull! When she encountered the party and learned of her son Justin's disappearance, she decided to join them and help them search for him. She knows he's an adult and can take care of himself, but her motherly instincts won't let her stop worrying, although she tries not to show it. She's fairly cheerful most of the time and freely offers her advice.
Aldrea's personality is far different than most of the others in her race. Hard work and commitment make her sick to her stomach, so she prefers to run around playing little-miss-temptress with any and all men she can find. In her youth, she was known as the "seductress in training." She has a profound hatred for women who disapprove of her ways, so she often acts cocky and has a very sharp tongue. She tries to be quick and keep her boy toys on their toes, so she is agile and slinky. For a career, so wants to do something where she can have fun and meet guys as well, so she aspires to someday attend the Sult University of Archaeology and Ancient History so she can become an archeologist when she decides to settle down (which may be a while...)

Sue has grown up a bit since the last time we saw her, but she's still the somewhat insane, loveable Sue we know and love. ^_^ She's matured a bit, and she is widely regarded as something of an expert in the field of Angelou archaeology, though she is still a student herself. When Justin and Feena were recently discovered missing, Sue was chosen to take their place and represent them at the upcoming Summit of Nations in the Chandrinos Islands. She is something of a celebrity herself, but she largely ignores her fame. She's very friendly and easy to get along with, though she doesn't take any crap from anyone. ^_^

Leen is a very calm, quiet, and composed woman who has become an important personage and quite a leader in her field. She is loving to her family and polite in the extreme to all others. She has a very strong sense of duty and responsibility. Most widely credited with founding the Sult University, she is married to Mullen with their first little one on the way, but she spends just as much time as ever in her work, running the university and aiding Mullen in his diplomatic duties. She is rather worried about her sister and brother-in-law's disappearance, but as she hasn't got the time or the ability to search for them personally, she has hired a party of adventurers that she trusts to go find the two heroes.

Mullen is currently serving as a diplomat for the Joule Foundation, ruling government of the country and continent of Messina. Mullen spends a lot of time traveling and has a sense of duty equal to his wife's; thus he is careful to take time at home with her whenever possible. Sometimes she travels with him. He has grown a bit less rigid in recent years, but he is still very proper and a bit obsessed with duty.
