Technically, NPC stands for "Non-Player Character." In RPG campaigns they are usually characters of minor importance or characters who only make temporary appearances in the story. In RF, however, we have lots of other uses for NPCs! Sometimes a player needs a temporary character because their regular one is unavailable in the story, or a newcomer may be doing a "trial run" role-play, or a character may even be fair-game for anyone to play. All such characters are listed here, plus a few "iffy" characters who may not end up joining the story because of a player's ability to attend. Note: The no-midi version isn't available for character sections.

Iyanna
A sparring partner and friend of Jayra and Cassidee. Played as an NPC by Dan.

Gunder
A simply huge young man built like a slightly overweight tank. He is often misunderstood, being sweet and caring despite his intimidating size. Created by Robyn as a tentative character.


Kalysa and Catara
Two adventurers from 3230 A.D. who are highly trained in the art of weaponry, but always seem to have the most terrible luck. ^_^ Created by Melody; the possibility that they will be played is up in the air.

Lelu
An indecisive young alchemist, also from the Magical Revolution Era, who is nonetheless a serious and confident student of her trade. Created by Hollie as a tentative character.
