Afterwards, Yoran decided Trajan would grow to replace her mother, and easily induced the Ebel genetic change, altering Trajan to become more feline since Yoran had a fetish for such. To avoid another incident that might spawn another possibility of another bastard child, Yoran had Trajan sterilized when she was 3 weeks old.
Less than four months later, Yoran would flee the planet during the Taamen Confederate Coup, and die in a fiery explosion when his Personal Yacht tried to outrun a coup-controlled Destroyer.
Trajan grew up full of miserable tension. She had been manipulated to give pleasure, and crave being pleasured. She matured rather quickly, but was quite unable to cope with such strong feelings and desires she had. She was a troublesome and mischievous youngster. In her teens, no longer able to bear the signals her body was sending her, she descended into the world of drugs to escape. Trajan's feline components allowed her to gain the pleasure and escape she sought very inexpensively by consuming feline pet products, namely a compound called Danjib. (Read: She gets high off of catnip. :P) She's very much addicted to this day.
Trajan's foster parents could no longer stand the troubles Trajan posed. Their patience expended, Trajan was sent to join the Taamen Universal Confederate Military. Though she vehemently resented it at first, soon, between her drug addiction and venting her childhood rage into military services, she gradually became a more stable being. Trajan's advancement wasn't overly fast, or overly exceptional. But she did progress steadily up the ranks to become Sub-Commander 3rd Class.
In her second mission against the deposed TUC faction, Trajan was placed in command of a small strike force sent to disable the gun batteries of the enemy Flagship Jirrad. Though the gun batteries were disabled, one subordinate also managed to disable the containment shielding for the Jirrad's Slow Reality Conversion Engines. When both Reality Fields began to expand, Trajan ordered her attack battalion out. Her escape was prevented by an SRC Engine Emergency Bulkhead, which she couldn't blast through. When the twin SRC Engine's Reality Fields collided with each other, a rift swallowed the Jirrad and everything on it.
Appearing over Expel, Trajan wreaked havoc inside the disabled Jirrad, until she was finally able to blow a hole in the hull and escape. The outrush of atmosphere sent Trajan & her Mech Ramia plummeting towards the surface of Expel. The Jirrad, who's backup power was consumed by the expansion of the Reality Fields was unable to seal off any sections or retain it's lifesupport. Trajan's effort to escape swiftly killed what remained of the Jirrad's crew.
The Jirrad, gaping hole in it's hull, lingered in Expel's gravity pull for several hours before it was drawn close enough to crash into the ocean. The tremendous splashdown caused a small tsunami which was felt by a few oceanside settlments, but as it occured in the middle of a huge body of water, the crash itself was unwitnessed by native eyes.
Meanwhile, Trajan, in her damaged mech Ramia, has crash-landed elsewhere on Expel below...
Appearance/Mannerisms:
Yoran designed Trajan to be pretty, right down to his personal specifications. She stands 5'7", and weighs a rather light 111 lbs. Yoran wanted her double jointed, so she's 80% double jointed. Lithe & athletic by design, Trajan's demure frame hides a remarkably strong little body. The product of a demented ruler's fantasies, Trajan has the tail & ears of a cat, with fur about the same color as her hair. Typically, she wears the standard TUC Mech Pilot Suit, Boots, and other accessories, modified to accommodate her Ebel Variant traits. Other times, she prefers soft, smooth or otherwise pleasant-feeling casual clothing. If she's had enough Danjib to curb her genetic curse, she tends to be fairly conservative, though a lack of the drug generally convinces her to dress more provocatively.
Personality/Demeanour:
Trajan tries her best to fight her genetically instilled sensual nature. Between her drug addition, and allowing herself to be totally consumed by her military life, she hopes to lead a relatively normal existence. She hates what she can become, and tries hard not to lapse into what Yoran desired her to be. She tries hard to refute her inner nature, and takes pride in her defiant nature. Eventually though, her will fails her, and for a short time she seeks release. When this happens, she generally feels very shameful and reclusive.
Trajan cannot have children, and this hurts her. Though she loves children, she doesn't have any maternal feelings; further damage to her mental state. Her greatest fear is that as a member of the military, she might one day bring harm to other children. Her childhood was forever shattered by war and she's the product of slavery. She despises everything the TUC once was, and ferociously crusaded against the deposed rulers with an unrivaled vehemence.
Now, crash landed on an alien planet in an alien universe in an alien reality, Trajan now has absolute freedom from the shadows of her past.
